Something has gone horribly wrong at this store. I used to get great service here. This evening I stopped by to pick up ink for my printer. As usual a representative asked to help me when I was making sure I had the right one, HP 952 XL Black/CM . She called on her radio and told me it was already at the counter. There was no line at the counter. The wrong ink had been delivered to the counter so they called for the right one. Apparently this annoyed the person who had made the mistake because they didn't bring the ink. There was the cashier and another associate rigth there and no one did anything to get the ink. They just let me stand there. Over 10 minutes past. Eventually the associate who was just standing there asked me about the ink. I said "Why am I standing here? Are you the person who is supposed to get the ink?" "No," he replied, "but maybe I will just grab it myself"--making it totally obvious he knew something was wrong and something should be done about it even though he had just been standing there. So I guess it is ok for a customer to just be waiting wasting their time while no one helps them. He disappeared for a while. Then he came back out. Still no one helped me. Then Approximately 10 minutes after that another associate came out of the back in no hurry at all--literally looking like he was in intentionally in slow motion, sauntered behind the counter and handed the cashier the ink without saying anything. No one apologized. I spent 20 minutes waiting. The Cashier didn't say anything. He did, however screw up when he rang me up. He didn't even ask for my rewards number I entered the store at 7:37pm. I know because I ordered dinner after parking immediately out front. I was not in the store 3 minutes when the first associate radioed the front to get the ink and told me it was waiting for me. The time on my receipt says 8:01 pm. (transaction:44850). was in the store a full 24 minutes. I waited more than 20 minutes after the ink should have been delivered and no one showed any urgency, and concern for the customer, or any concern for how they made the staples brand or this store look. I think everyone in this store was smoking pot in the back and was too lazy to do anything. There were more associates there than customers. I am a business owner and I would never let something like this happen. I would be grateful if someone brought an experience like this one to my attention. ...
   Read moreWow, the manager there has zero respect for customers or humans in general. I had ordered 3 tablets by mistake. I called Staples 5 minutes after the order and they said they couldn't modify it, 5 minutes after! On the phone they told me to just return it to the store in person and that my coupon code(which gave me $30 off) should still work. I went into the store once I received the tablets. The girl at the counter was nice enough but I had to wait 20 minutes just for them to get someone on the phone to confirm that I could return the items. I then asked if they were going to honor the coupon, which I had mentioned I wanted to remain for the one I was keeping. The manager goes out of his mind and starts accusing me of lying to him about what I wanted. It put such a bad taste in my mouth, I just returned them...
   Read moreI came a couple times to print some stuff. And at 8:00 the guy standing there looking free saying any other counter print will take an hour.
Well I think it is simple put it a computer press print and a printer does the job less than 5 minutes.
I am sure this is how out of stores are closing out of business because of these irresponsible and lazy staffs.
If everything is next day turn around then why the hell should I go to a local store? Online stardust offer next days as well. Save me some traffic and dealing with those lazy employees.
By the way people here are rude and not friendly at all. I don't feel I am welcome here. I am not saying this because I did not get my paper printed. I'm saying so if any manager can read this you guys should change that otherwise I wish...
