It was a great experience! It was my second time attending, both were good. I enjoyed the music. They have a little bit of something for everyone, on the various stages. I always look forward to the food, which was really good. My only criticism would be the prices were really high. It reminded me of amusement park prices. The good news is you can bring in your own food and seats to minimize the damage, but it's worth the experience to taste something authentic from the event. The kids in our group weren't too impressed. They were tired of walking and felt like there wasn't enough for kids to do. I would agree. One of my favorite things was "people watching", and the Angelinos didn't disappoint! Looking forward to the next one.

Amazing experience! My entire family loved it. We ate so much delicious food. The live music had a family reunion kind of vibe. They brought all the soul! There were drummers and dancers performing like a parade, which I didn’t expect. You could definitely feel the energy. Celebrity appearances, community awareness and programs with free giveaways. All the love and No hate was there. We’ll be back next year for sure!

Excellent community event. I love being among my people. As far as the food vendor's I wish there was more of a selection. Same old fried fish, chicken, ribs, etc. Go on Instagram, there are soooo many "hood chefs" in and around L.A. doing creative things. Where were they?! Some of the vendors they had aren't ready for doing large crowd events. Waiting in long lines only to be told they're out of what you stood in line for, menus not updated to reflect what they actually have. The point should be to come try some not your everyday food. So I Paid $15 for lobster Mac n chese, only to find not one piece of lobster!!! I was disappointed in the day over all. Unless they revamp the production of this event, it will soon...

I have attended all the Tastes of Souls events except for the Covid19 year. They have been wonderful experiences. The only pet peeve I have is the disrespect of others smoking blunts and cigarettes in the concerts areas. Our children, grandchildren, adults and adolescents may have Asthmatic conditions and the inhalation of smoke triggers their asthma. Is there some way you can arrange some type of accommodation for those who are handicapped with such...
