Don't waste your time coming here. Parts department sold me a water pump that was fitting properly (the impeller shaft was rubbing the inside of the block on installation) While this isn't their fault they made a return/refund a nightmare. I brought in my old pump, new pump and pictures to prove new pump was rubbing block. They tried to blame me for not purchasing the right part, Saying I should have brought the VIN in when purchasing. If that's the case why would you sell me a part without the VIN in the first place? Second , how many different water pump variants can there be for a 1 year production vehicle? After hours of research it comes back to the same part number. All in all it was a was a nightmare and I didn't get a complete refund on my purchase. Where is management for the Parts department? Everytime I call they say, “hold” not even hello or anything.. and they kept me on hold for like 20min until I gave up and hang up. Always on hold. I call other Toyota parts departments and they instantly answer or put me a hold for a brief moment , nothing crazy like Toyota DTLA and then when I finally spoke to someone the guy was rude. Seemed like he did not want to work there. Come on Toyota parts do better, you are representing Toyota and being like this will just make people take their business elsewhere.
