Ultra Pop is one of the coolest stores in Louisville. If you grew up in the 70's, 80's or 90's this is the store for you! It's a flash from our past. He's got every childhood toy, comics, adult coloring books, if you can think of your favorite childhood toy... This man has it in his store and something's you've forgotten about. If he doesn't have it, I'd be very surprised. I'm sure he'll find it for you. He's very friendly and helpful. The store is always clean. He even has some local art work that comes in he sells for people. If you stop in to check it out, you will buy something. There's just to many things in his store that you will remind you of your childhood. The guy that owns, he runs the store and lives there too. Stop in and find a treasure from when you were a kid. Me and my friend went like last week and we went to look for the Sonny angel hippers didn’t see them so my friend went up to ask them but was standing there for like a good min or so cause clearly the cashier too busy talking about whatever she was with the other two people and made eye contact with my friend but kept talking and then the one dude there kinda had a tone and attitude saying we have to follow him on social media to know when he has them but posted the day before he did if you don’t have them update it so people know instead of driving for nothing and also keep your conversations outside of work we don’t need to know someone you know has...

If you're looking for a milquetoast strip-mall gift shop go somewhere else. Ultra Pop has so much cool stuff you'll have to pace yourself and plan a second trip to take it all in. Local and regional artists and designers mixed with some of the best pieces from all over the world. This stretch of road is bustling on weekends, plan for a nice block or two walk from parking.
