GOLDHEART: Stones And Such — Local services in Louisville

Beautiful stone shop. Male owner seems to know what he's talking about and is very helpful. Other employees seem disinterested and unknowledgeable which is not good when someone comes in and wants to know more about stones and crystals. I spent well over $100 in the store and asked the girl to please write out what I bought so I knew what they were called and what they did or what they were good for. When I get home and look at the paper I realized I bought nine stones and she wrote down for items. None of which made sense. This lack of customer service and care really Disturbed me. It makes me wonder if I want to go back in I do find a peaceful and wonderful presence in this place and would like to continue many many times in the next coming months I am just getting into Crystals and Stones and want to be a student and learn about them. But if the employees do not know what's going on or want to take the time out when there's an empty store and don't want to help a customer that says I'm blind and cannot write these things can you do this for me and they quickly rush through it and don't write everything clearly or concisely you cannot learn and it is almost a waste. For spending $100 in there which is a lot to me I would hope to get better customer service. Other than that there's so many stones and crystals to choose from they are a beautiful display cases and so many beautiful shapes and designs in these Crystals and Stones. I would say they're probably pretty high quality and it's well worth a visit if you're a we will person like myself. They also have essential oils and descriptions on the wall of what things are but due to my visual impairment that was not helpful for me. But I would love to go there and spend hundreds more dollars...

If you are a rock hound, you need to hit this spot. They have things that are just not available in this area. If you are doing the crystal healing gig, you need to hit this shop. The have everything you need from tumbles to raw specimens. I've been to rock shops all over the place in this country (check my other reviews) and this place is more than what I expected. The place is packed, like wall to wall... Everywhere you turn it's like, "Well that's beautif OH MY LAWD!" The shop is set up in a manner that is manageable but if you actually want to focus you better plan on being there for a while. Once again, if you are a rock hound... This is your spot. This place will have what you want and if not they will source it, ethically. I've hit spots from west to east and very few shops have the inviting nature that this place has. I absolutely adore this business. If you want to feel welcome and at home while shopping around for some of the best quality gemstones in Louisville this is where you want to be. The atmosphere as soon as you walk in is so comforting. And both owners are two of the most kind, caring, funny and sweet men you will EVER meet.
