Went in with my son to ask about buying tuxedos. We each needed one and were prepared to pay several hundred to a thousand dollars for each. There were no other customers in the store at the time and we were completely ignored by the 3 associates working there until we finally had to ask for help. We were told they only had one tuxedo for sale and it definitely wouldn't fit us and that this was a problem all over so we were unlikely to find any anywhere. Then, we asked about whether we might be able to rent them. The associate said that he could fit us but it wouldn't do any good today (Sunday around noon) because there "systems" were down. No further comment from him. No, "I'm sorry I can't help you with your needs" or any indication that he was interested in our business. It's very frustrating when businesses make it so difficult to spend your money with them. We went across the parking lot to the Men's Wearhouse. They only had one person working at the time and about 4 customers in the store. Not only was he able to fit and sell us two tuxedos within an hour, he kept all the other customers in the store happy and took care of the additional ones that walked in until an another associate arrived. If you go to the Paddock Shops and need men's clothing, go to Men's Wearhouse. Avoid Joseph A. Banks. They apparently don't need any money from...

I went into the store and was helped by a wonderful associate who was really nice and helpful in my choices. I was told my suits would need to be altered to fit properly. So being ignorant on the return policy, I accepted as I needed a few suits for work. After all was said and done I came to pick up my suits and the jackets had not been altered. So then I had to pay more, and wait even longer to receive my suits. After a total of a MONTH I finally get my suits and can wear them. I was not 100% satisfied with the quality so I decided I’d try to return them as I spent well over $1000 and not being satisfied, that stings a little. I was told online they couldn’t help me as it was a store purchase, and I get to the store and now I can’t return them because they are altered. I was never told they could not be returned after alteration up front and I had never suit shopped before. I went in seeing online there was a 90 return policy if you were not happy. I called in and was told it was “managers discretion on returns” and in store they told me “There is no way we can return them once altered.” So which way is it? Now I am out $1000 for something I do not like on me. What ever happened to customer satisfaction?

Well, at this Jos Bank they don't know nor couldn't care. There wasn't a single customer in the store...there were two employees...there was a little bearded guy with glasses and a tall young man named "KJ" .... After I told "KJ", who was perched on the cash register stand, my plans to buy pants, sport coats and pocket kerchiefs...I asked "so where do we go first?"... KJ's answer: "Wherever you want to go.." he turned his shoulders and motioned toward the wall "pants and coats are over there.." the little bearded guy never offered any help either so I said "I guess I need to come back on another day..you guess?" KJ's response.."whatever suits you..." So I gathered my clothes and left...I entered and left in about 10 minutes...Jos Bank is soon to be history...a mens clothing business can"t survive apathetic and rude service...I was ready to spend money to get whatever was presented that I liked...I'll go to Mens Wearhouse I guess...I've always gone to Jos Bank...that ship...
