DO NOT BUY OR HAVE ALTERATIONS DONE HERE! My girlfriend bought her prom dress here. When she picked it up from having alterations done she paid nearly 200 dollars for them to cut her dress and not even sew it back up where it looked nice. The dress was fraying and still had chalk on it from where it was cut. When she put it on for Prom there were busted seams in the dress that opened nearly all the way, sequens were falling off, and a clip on the back that held the straps was broken where these ladies had broken it and tried to rig it back to hide their error. When the dress was taken back they blamed my girlfriend for all of the issues and said that a cut dress is an alteration and refused to refund any of the money for the low quality work she spent so much money for. And to top it off their idea of customer service is terrible, yelling at her and her aunt both calling them liars. Would not recommend these con...

I’m so disappointed with this experience. I came to them and asked them to alter a bridesmaid dress. The wedding I am in is on Sunday (they knew this) and told me my dress would be ready the Wednesday before. I didn’t pick it up Wednesday and couldn’t come on Thursday although I called them multiple times to ask about the status of my dress and nobody would ever answer. Friday comes around and my flight changed last minute because of the flooding at the fort lauderdale airport so I had to get my dress right when the store opened and then head to the airport. Welp, they never even altered my dress and nobody ever called me to communicate that with me. If you are too busy to fulfill a commitment then that is on you to communicate thar to your customers. No excuses. I am now in Florida trying to scramble to find someone to fix my dress last minute so it fits me when I should just be enjoying time...

We had been all over Louisville looking for dresses and found that dresses which my daughter loved were out of our price range or the dresses that were in our price range looked cheap. When we walked into The Sewing room we couldn't believe the amount of dresses they had in stock (and multiple sizes of many of the dresses) and every dress was within our price range. The dresses were beautiful and high quality. My daughter found a dress within 10 minutes of being there and feels like a princess in it! The staff was helpful (but not in our face) and had great suggestions. They do alterations right there so it would have been so easy to get those done if we had needed them. Thankfully, the dress fit her perfectly! This will be there very first place we shop for prom...
