Kentucky Derby Museum Store — Local services in Louisville

I'm not a horse racing fan, so I'll get that out of the way first. Maybe that impacted my rating? We were here because it was a stop (turn-around point) on our Trolley D'Ville tour. It was kind of neat to see Churchill Downs, but I have no interest in that sport. The bathroom was very clean and nice, so there's that. :)

The Derby race was the previous weekend, so maybe that explains the really high prices for the few things I looked at (I travel a lot and several things here were priced higher than what you'd spend while trapped at an airport).

They do have quite a few 'generic' Kentucky souvenir kind of things; my mom grabbed some drink coozies. But they have magnets...

Did not enjoy my experience. I am from out of state, and I tried to run into the gift shop before they closed, and they closed the door on me 5 mins before they closed. I am on a business trip, and I left the group to try and get there before they closed and I made it in time. Great shop to pick up Derby memorabilia. Lots to choose from. Wonderful collection of goods for many different styles and tastes. Everything from real horse shoes used on the track to high dollar bourbon. Absolutely enjoyed this great...
