Discriminatory behavior. We booked a reservation and arrived 5 mins in advance and the staff told my mom that they would not honor our reservation and the excuse from the receptionist was "i wasn't there when you booked it". We had an email confirmation for the reservation. She proceeded to seat about 30 walk ins in our face and we watched them remove seats from our would be table. I tried to salvage our experience letting the restaurant know that I do understand that they are busy and that I was not mad and request that they prepare another table for us. The receptionist asked me did I want a table and if so I needed to hurry and get it because "they are still taking chairs". I told her of course we wanted a table. We were seated but did not have enough seats. I told one of the waitresses and she put her hand up signaling me to stop talking and they she proceeded to turned her back and do nothing to help. I had to ask for extra chairs 3 times before they were provided. The party that the restaurant gave our reservation too were loud and obnoxious, yelling across the restaurant, placing their purses on our table ECT. NONE of the staff of the restaurant had the backbone to honor the reservation, ask for any of the empty chairs that the other party took or to ask them stop stop putting their purses on our tables while we were trying to be seated. So unprofessional. There were 4 separate checks between my group and I personally tipped $20 alone on a ticket that went a little over $100...other members of my party tipped as well dispite receiving poor service, being met with rude staff when making reasonable request and never receiving any refills. No plates to share our appetizers. No apologies for literally giving away our reservation. The only difference between my group and the other group is that they were all white. Things that make you go hmmm! A tip wasn't deserved but we tipped because we are decent people and I didn't want to ruin my birthday. Will never return to this restaurant though. Terrible service. Ground beef was mushy. We ordered 2 orders of queso and chips and were charged full price for both but didn't recieved any chips with the second order but instead were offered chips once we asked for the check. I chose not to spaz out but really that's exactly why people go into restaurants and act up, it's because you treat...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreReally hate to leave this review as my wife and I have been eating here almost monthly, for the last few years. My wife ordered the margaritas dip as her entre because she wasn't that hungry. I had my go to, the chicken chimichanga. I had almost finished my meal and was ready to pay when my wife noticed a medium length black hair in her dip. I tried to catch the waiters attention but he was busy with another table across the restaurant. There was a small group of employees by the hostess station watching TV, so I approached to let them know we found a hair and I just wanted my check so I could pay and leave. Instantly the blonde lady with black roots at the hostess station starts speaking Spanish telling her coworkers that the hair was my wifes, and when I called her on it she became very confrontational about it. Telling me that no women work in the kitchen with black hair and it was definitely was my wifes... My wife hair is blonde, not even close to black she said that she could see some black in my wifes hair. The only apology I received was from our server and another lady who walked out from the kitchen with, black hair. Again, I never once asked for a discount or for anything to be taken off our bill. At that point I just wanted to pay and leave, I was grossed out but understand things happen. I just had no idea the level of immaturity and aggression I was going to be met with by the lady with the blonde dyed hair. Its a shame because our waiter was great, of course its not his fault, so I made sure I paid our bill...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came here with my girlfriend, and her best friend + son. At first the waiter was super funny and laughing at our jokes. When it came time to get our food, my girlfriend found a hair in her food. All she wanted was it remade, she wasnāt requesting a comp on the food or anything. After the waiter took the plate, a few minutes later he came over with the managerā¦that we never asked for. She said something along the lines of, āYou found a hair in your food, but we donāt have any women in the kitchen and it was curly.ā Meanwhile, both my girlfriend and I have curly hair. It felt like it was a backhanded way of accusing us of putting the hair in the food. My girlfriend proceeded to say āWe thought it could have been from one of us, but it was under the burrito so it couldnāt have been usā and told tell her that we didnāt want anything other than the food remade. After the food was remade, my girlfriend stated that it was undercooked and just didnāt taste good and just requested that the plate be taken as she wasnāt going to eat it. They did remove the item from the bill, but overall it felt like a mix between a profiling and just plain rudeness. Truthfully, we all at some point had been to this location before and have had a positive experiences but with this experience alone, I will never come back to...
