Leatherhead Shop Inc — Local services in Louisville

It’s not what it used to be. I bought a jacket from them for roughly $400 about three years ago. He told me that they made just about everything in the house. The one I bought had a store label on it. Within two months, both of the pocket had ripped. I brought it to them concerned about the quality, and they insisted that it was good leather. And that they would fix it for me by reinforcing the pocket. Received the jacket back almost a year later. Looking at it now, it is clearly machined. And I found a clear label that i hadn’t noticed before indicating that it’s been made in Pakistan. Very disappointed. This was once a Louisville institution, I won’t be shopping there ever again.

Edited in response - i will be calling but need to call out two point. The picture shows a half centimeter by half centimeter scrape that reveals how cheaply made this jacket was. This is bonded leather. Not what the owner represented to my wife and I when I bought it. Maybe you’re not a Louisville institution. Looking for a new learher jacket for my wife and found the Leatherhead shop online. Looked interesting and appeared to have a wide variety of either goods so we decided to give it a shot... so glad we did! The shop is small but hasa large selection of jackets, boots and belts for men and women. Prices are as reasonable as can be in today's market and we think they what we paid was a fair price.
