The staff at this location look like they all are doing the work of two to three additional associates with of course the pay of one. Nothing but good things about the store associates. This review is primarily for Meijer executives and what is a complete guess a former architect from UPS?
Pat yourselves on the back for a fantastic color selection of feces brown and old egg white. Putting the UPS store sign on the outside is comical because it feels like I'm walking into a UPS factory. Why don't we just put up the wood panel along the walls and bring back the '70s. Impeccables choices already.
I love waking up on New years getting to clock into my part-time job at Meijer scanning groceries. I didn't realize how much of the local community worked here. After the remodel we now have six lanes, two of the six are open at 2:00 p.m. on New Year's Eve........ I'm sure the mothers with two to three children who are checking out an entire grocery basket full of carts love the remodel as well, and of course the additional labor. Why am I paying $1.40 for a single Powerade yet it's taking me twice as long to get out of the store??
Staffing levels. Last month it took us close to an hour to get a TV. I could have driven to Best buy, bought the lad dinner, had him install it, and brought him back to the store quicker than what it was to purchase the TV at this establishment. 6 lanes again, The geriatrics really love that, you know them being so good with technology and all at the self checkouts.
Sorry for the rant but my New Year's resolution starting tomorrow is to not leave such mean reviews. I would also like to add my 2025 resolution of giving Aldi's as much money as humanly possible once they open up the store within .20 mi of you. The company Fred started is not the one We are shopping at today, you greedy, selfish, incompetent executive leadership.
Happy New Year's though....
Read moreThis meijer as a store is a 5 star. However the pharmaceutical is a 2 star which is why I gave a 4 star. All employees including the pharmacy are A+, very helpful, and extremely nice. Where the pharmacy losses stars is the disconnect when a prescription is filled and when it's available for pickup at the store. We use the pharmacy app and there have been several times where we have receive a notification telling us that we can pick up a prescription. We then drive to the store only to find out that the prescription isn't at the store but at the wearhouse where it was filled and the notification is saying that it has been filled at the wearhouse and will be picked up and delivered the next day.
When the above happens it's frustrating, it is even more frustrating when the prescription is for one or both of you 3 1/2yr old children. I feel like this frustration can easily be fixed with a minor tweak of the notification system. Instead of notifying everyone when the prescription has been filled at the wearhouse how about notifying us that it's ready for pickup when it at the store when it gets scanned in.
The only other issue is that there have been several situations where a prescription has been ordered from the Dr's Office and when we get to the pharmacy to pick it up we're told that it can't be filled until the next day.
If these 2 things could be fix I would have zero issue with this meijer, but at this point in time my review is that this story is amazing, but if you need a a pharmacy go find a different one for...
Read moreI want to emphasize that I go to the Meijer in Lowell frequently because I work in Lowell. It is far more convenient for me than going to Knapps Corner. The store is always clean, the staff is helpful, & the shelves are stocked well. I always enjoy my shopping trips here. But I have to remark that the bottle return area is a disaster. Every single time I go to return bottles, even 1 small bag of bottles, half of the machines are either full & therefor not usable, or broken & not usable. Then you have to stand there for 30 minutes MINIMUM for one of the few working machines to open up while listening tot he awful chime of the machines that need service & pray that it doesn't go out of order before you can get to it. I have never seen any staff come in to check on the machines any time I have been there. You have to walk out of the bottle return area, tell 2-3 staff members the machines need attention, & then wait for 15-20 more minutes for someone to come & help. I don't blame the staff I have a feeling they are understaffed & that is why this happens. But it is...
