Awesome place! Growing up in Greenville, I never visited the Ada-Lowell 5. If I were going to travel to another city for a movie it was always in Grand Rapids. After my last visit to Greenville NCG cinemas was so disappointing, we decided to give this place a shot. I was blown away! Everything was cheaper or approximately the same cost as in Greenville, and the theater experience is way beyond better! It is a night and day difference. The seats are amazing! Huge leather reclining chairs, each equipped with a table for snacks as well as a cupholder, each with softly illuminated buttons to control the reclining function of the seat. At one point during the movie, my youngest son decided he wanted to sit with me. It was not a problem as my seat was more than big enough and comfortable enough for he and I. I wouldn't have been so comfortable in other theaters. On top of that, the staff was very courteous and friendly. We will definitely be going back here for our movies from now on! BUT, the best part is that they updated the theater and have added the most amazingly, comfortable, reclining seats. Makes the experience even better. It's like sitting in your living room at home in the most comfortable chair.
Also, the staff is always very friendly, parking is a breeze, and their reward card is awesome. Unlike some theaters in Grand Rapids with reward cards, I actually can tell I'm racking up points and getting a discount off popcorn etc.
We will continue to make the trip here and I definitely recommend checking this theater out if...

They did some renovations recently and each room has fewer seats but all of the new seats are automatically adjustable, can recline, and are very large. One of my favorite things about this place are the seats. Volume isn't too loud like some theaters are which can cause hearing loss over time or just cause your ears to ache. Other patrons are respectable and friendly but I think you just get that with people from Lowell. I don't live in Lowell but my experience with the people from this town...
