Traveling across the state to see family our Ford F150 began experiencing some technical difficulties. We were towing our 10k lb camper and didn't want to put the extra strain on our vehicle so we called Zeigler Ford, which is where we were close to at the time. The gentleman in the service department was pretty much unhelpful and just stated that if we brought the truck there it would be weeks before he could even look at it. He did give us the number to Ford Roadside assistance and so I called them. Of course they wanted to tow us to Zeigler Ford because that was the closet dearlship. Once the tows were set up I called the service department back to explain the situation and once again the service guy, I believe his name was George was completely rude. He stated again the the truck would have to sit here for a couple weeks before they could even look at it. I explained that we were 2 hours from home and had our camper with us. Well then he really went off. He started to basically yell at us that we can't bring our camper there and we would have to do something else with that. I once again asked him what he expected us to do. We are traveling and have no other way. We can't pick the camper up and carry it. We didn't even know where we were going to stay that night. But he didn't care, he basically wanted nothing to do with us and our problems. So because we were left with no choice, we drove the truck hauling the camper the rest of the 1.5 hours we had on what turned out to be a bad plug and coil. Once we got to Grand Haven we called Preferred Ford and they were amazing. They pushed us to the front and got our truck fixed within a matter of days. We only had to extend our trip by 2 days. Although my experience with the dearlship is limited I would have to say that the little bit I did receive was enough to convince me its not a company that I would want to deal with. Please do not get me wrong, I do not expect every company to go above and beyond for customers however a good company will make some attempts to help customers when emergency situations arise. Zeigler Ford did no such thing. I have been dealing with Ford for many years as we are a Ford Family. Both parents retired from Ford. I was very disappointed in the way we...
Read moreFrom the very beginning stages of our new car purchase Harold Ziegler Ford of Lowell rose to the top. I emailed from their website at 11:30pm on a Thursday and within 15 minutes I received a response from a real person letting me know that they would reach out with the requested information as soon as the dealership opened the next day. They definitely kept their word, but managed to do so in a low pressure way. I had not provided my phone number, and preferred that they email me. They never asked for a phone number and responded to 6 or 7 emails without hesitation. I had also emailed a different dealership about the exact same type of vehicle and they would not give me any information without providing them with a phone number to reach me at. We were set up with a sales rep and a test drive at 9:30am on a Saturday. When we arrived our vehicle was out front and ready to go! My husband and I had wanted to test drive a few different vehicles, but hadn’t told them that in any of our conversations I I was nervous that it would be a problem. Chris Cisler was our sales rep and he was more than happy to make that happen. We never felt rushed, and felt like we could have driven 10 different cars if we wanted to. He encouraged us to take our time on the test drive and to enjoy it! We didn’t end of liking the vehicle that we had set up initially (no fault of the dealership) but fell in love with the second one that we tried. Chris was very knowledgeable on the Jeep that we had chosen and put all the steps into place to process our trade in, check on the recall that was listed (which had already been fixed prior to them listing it for sale) and began the financing process. Everything was very smooth and extremely simple. The finance manager Skip was quick and efficient and didn’t try to over sell. We brought the Jeep home that same day and already received a personal phone call from Chris making sure we were enjoying our new purchase, and to make sure that we didn’t have any questions or concerns. It’s definitely worth going through their dealership for you next...

Up date: 3 days ago I drove away witha 2024 Maverick! I had ordered one in November, prepared to wait a year for it, but Chris Cisler called with amazing news that one had come in with all the extras I wanted! Everybody was so helpful and fun. Chris had all the answers to all my questions. Zack is the money guy, he was great tool No one talked down to me, and at 76 years old, believe me that was a pleasant surprise. This is my 2nd Maverick so far. AND I bought a tent that is made for the Maverik.!
In October of 2021 I walked into Zeigler Ford in Lowell Michigan. I knew what I wanted, I had done my homework, and didn't want to be 1) talked down to as a woman, or 2) treated like an old person. Chris Cisler met me at the door, "How can I help you?" "I want to order a Maverick!" He didn't seem to notice that I was a 73 year old woman. We went over the process together, then built my Maverick on his computer. He explained the various options, which I already knew but learned more about when he presented them. He asked me what I wanted most, how I will use it, and of course the color. We went over the paperwork. I paid my deposit. Then I waited. And waited. (Everyone knows the complications the Pandemic caused), 17 months in all. One of the things that made me very happy with Chris was that he kept in touch regularly for months about the delays. We chatted like old friends by the time the truck was scheduled for production. Early one morning I got a call, "Look at your texts." There it was in living beautiful color in the Ziegler service area! The financial details went smoothly, no hidden fees, no confusing items on the contract. Thank You Chris, and all the dealer staff. It was such a positive experience. Recommend this dealer? Yes Purchased a vehicle from...
