This restaurant used to be very busy years ago, buzzing with customers and great food. It has declined significantly since then.

The place is dirty and neglected. Bathrooms are gross. The tables and floor are sticky. More than half the lights are off so it's dark and dingy looking. There are 3 lonely koi in the entire pond.

Then there's the food (which used to be great). The crab rangoons are small and underfilled, the black pepper chicken is just small crunchy leftover fryer bits, and the vegetable lo mein is dry and so starchy it stands up on the plate.

The food sits so long under heat lamps, several dishes are shoe leather and they don't change them out until every last crumb has been sold. When they put out a fresh pan of creamy shrimp, they literally just dumped a pile of shrimp in a pan and plopped a bunch of sauce on it. It was up to the customers to mix it all together like it should be.

I loved this place years ago when it was under different management. It was everything you'd want in a Chinese buffet. Since management changed hands 10+ years ago, it's been a steady decline. The staff here clearly are only interested in sucking out as much money as possible by shrinking portions, serving old crusty food, and unscrewing light bulbs. All while raising the prices!!

Also, be careful if you arrive near the lunch/dinner changeover (4pm I think). The last time I died here I arrived ~3:30-3:45, but was charged for the dinner price anyway since the check was brought after 4. Dishonest business practice and clearly just looking to suck more money out of you any way they can.

It's a real shame, this place used to be nice. Neglect, greed, and laziness have all but guaranteed it thankfully won't be around...

The good part of this place was that it was quiet, nicely decorated, and the food was decent. The big drawback was at the selection was very very small. Their salad bar had lettuce, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, some pasta, couple of dressings, and I that's it. They had watermelon and muskmelon to offer for fruit while I was there. It looked like there might have at some point been bananas with the red sauce but they were out while I was there. They did seem to run out of things and take a while to refill. When you have a small selection that that's quite a bummer. As far as entrees and sides they had three or four different kinds of chicken, French fries, chicken nuggets, one kind of pork, dumplings, egg rolls, they have some sweet shrimp, noodles, White rice, and a cheese and crab bake that was surprisingly sweet instead of savory. As far as desserts they had three kinds of cookies, two different kinds of cake, a couple of jellos, tapioca pudding, chocolate pudding, butterscotch pudding, and banana pudding. Most of places I go have two or three tables more of buffet offerings. Just on the entrees and sides alone, much less more desserts, ice cream machines, and much bigger salad bar offerings. The food wasn't bad there just wasn't much to pick from. The staff was nice and it was clean inside. The atmosphere was pleasant and pretty. When we first got there we were the only people there. And I think maybe two or three more tables got used while we were eating. I probably would not go back there again just because of the lack of selection, but if they were to add more items...

Only reason why I gave 1 start because No stars are not an option. This is the only Buffet that I know of that has a microwave sitting next to the Buffet. The food is so cold and they leave it sitting there untill its gone no matter how old it is all the soups are cold. Even the Salad bar grossed me out they had leaf lettuce itting there for salads and the edges of all the lettuce was brown I took a small scoop of the shredded cheese and put it on the lettuce and put ranch over it and brought it back to my table and took one bite and got a nasty old stale cheese taste in my mouth. So i picked up a piece of ccheese and it smelled like a old pig farm. Also I could not believe I was watching them bring out new food and they dumped it right on top of the old food that was cold and has been sitting since tthey opened and stirred it together . How people are eating here and bot getting sick is very doubtful. I was sick just seeing how they operate. So on top of all this we came in at 330 and when we left at 415 they charged us Dinner prices and that does not start until 4pm. I was extremely Disgusted and highly disappointed with everything. Dirty dishes sat at our tables untill we were about to leave and when I mentioned we were there b4 Dinner time and how everything was old and cold....she said well its after 4 now shop i have to charge u dinner prices. I said thats ok because I will...

It was so quiet in there there was no music, no TV playing, it was so strange. There was only one person working. However, it wasn't too busy she kept ours and the other peoples cups full. While trying to multitaskingand make food in the back, she did a wonderful job. The place was very dark inside some lights were off as shown in one of the pictures. The floor where the food was being served was sticky. The food itself was not very good. It was warm but not hot. The fried rice tasted like it was burnt. They don't serve sushi anymore. And there were 2 empty spots with completely empty pans, nothing was in them. What happened to this place, It used to be so good.

It's been many years since I went to this buffet restaurant in Lowell but I thought I would try it again tonight. I arrived at 6:30 p.m. and there was only one other party seated in the restaurant. That should have been a clue. Most of the food on the buffet looked like it had been in the warming trays for a long time. The quantity was very limited in each tray and several were empty. That makes sense if they don't get a lot of customers so they don't make much food. Some of the food tasted okay, some was way overdone. Based on my experience I would not go back. Maybe they are a better play for lunch if they are busier.
