Staff was rude and dismissive. The one woman made fun of the wedding band that my fiancé bought for me. She then started answering the questions of the customer behind me, and put my ring aside: both staff members cast dirty looks at me, as though they were annoyed with me, that I was wasting their precious time. Perhaps it was because it was 430 pm and there were only 30 mins of business hours left. I had to pick up my ring and say something to the staff member to get her attention again. She went on to tell me that I would either need to return the ring and buy something in my size or I would have to get gold added to the ring, which could cost me up to $600. I told the woman thank you and that I would think about it. And then I left. I will never ever go back to PJ Giannini again. My wedding is in less than two months and I was hoping for someone to help me. Instead I got resentment and high estimate. Didn’t even get a congratulations. It was a terrible experience that left me feeling empty. I had to explain all of this to my poor fiancé who took money from her savings to buy me this ring. When I told the staff member what the ring cost, she sneered at me and rolled her eyes at me. So rude. Thank you but no thank you. I’ll find a jeweler who can both help me and treat me like a...
Read moreDon’t go here! Save yourself. First, it’s not good quality and overpriced, they have engraved a previous ring wrong and did a really bad job on the resize. When I took it to get fixed at our local place in New Orleans the jeweler laughed and asked who did this work. Second, when I recently went back (it was a simple repair and I thought they could handle that since there was no resize or engraving involved), we had a horrible customer service experience and once again poor quality and very over priced. I had to wait 3+ weeks after they told me it would take 1. When we called to ask for the status and why the delay, the owner was unbelievably rude, she at point called me “pathetic” and made a comment about my toddler crying in the background. We requested to instead come get the jewelry and get our money back and they refused. Based on past reviews I’m sure they’ll respond to this review and have all sorts of excuses and their delusional side of the story, but really save yourself...
Read moreStopped by to get a pin for a watch strap that bent on my sons watch. Gentleman was pleasant and can talk up a blue streak. Though, I felt he put me off because of what I needed when I asked for only the pin. He did get one out while helping customers that came in after me and put it on the counter. I told him that it was a tad bit too long and he kept helping others. Ten minutes after I had walked in ( husband timed me) I said thank you and walked out without the pin. I understand he was by himself and the "watch lady was at Wawa" but I felt that if he would've helped me I may have considered going back. He did have some pretty estate jewelry. I have been to other small jewelers in the past and felt that with his experience he could've handled finding a pin but felt pushed aside because I was not going to make him much money with my...
