I do not leave many reviews however my experience needed to be documented.I have had bad experiences with this location before but this takes the cake. I stopped in nd purchased a wireless backup camera.I the decided I wanted to have them install it. I asked how I wouldset up an appointment and was told to go to the back of the store and stand by the window that looks into the install area and try to "get their attention." I was NOT told there was a door on the outside of the store that led directly into the install area that I could have used. I ended up getting another employee to get one of the installers to help me make an appointment. Despite the fact that their website prominantly features "same day install" I was forced to make an appointment a month away. I physically watched the man put my appointment into the computer. I was asked if I wou;d be waiting for the car and told them I would be. He advised me to drop it off in the morning and they could get to it before my appointment time. I arrived to this store when they opened on the much anticipated day only to find out they had NO RECORD of my appointment. The person I spoke to told me without any questions that he would "squeeze it in" which told me that this probably happened on a regular basis. I advised them I would be stayong in the area and to please inform me when I was done. I went to customer service and asked to speak to a manager and informed them about the fact my appointment could not be found regardless of the fact I watched him put it in. The manager I spoke with made some excuse as to them being down an installer.I then went to other stores in the immediate area, on foot, tokill time until my vehicle was done. At one point I noticed my vehicle was no longer prked in the waiting area so I went back over to the store and went back to the install area and sure enough my vehicle was in the install area. About 15 minutes later it was no longer in the install area and I got an installers attention and asked if it was done. I was told it was not. They had my vehicle in the install area then decided to move on to someone else's install. I was informed I was next and I once again told them I was waiting in the area and please call when it was done. THREE HOURS LATER I once again noticed my vehicle was not outside. I went and looked and sure enough it was back in the install area. Not only that but by some miracle they actually seemed to be DOING THE INSTALL. 45 minutes later my car was pulled out of the install area. I decided to wait to see if they woul call. After 15 minutes it became apparent they had no intention of doing so I walked outside to the customer enterance only to discover it was locked. I finally got to the installers after searching for someone who ould help me do so and was informed that "oh yea, it's done." I got in my car and drove home thinking at least that ordeal was over with. That is until yesterday when I went through a car wash and upon arriving home and putting my car in reverse noticed the back up camera was severly tilted. I went to the back of my car and discovered when the install was done they simply slid the camera bracket over the license plate frame. It was not secured in any way which the install directions clearly state to do and the camera even includes hardware for, said hardware being conveniently left in the box. A wireless back up camera requires two things for install, splicing into the wiring an the back up lights and mounting.    Read moreI am giving this store of one star rating. If I could give it zero stars, trust me I would. Went to their store this morning with a laptop that I bought from them that will not charge. Customer service set me up with an appointment with Geek Squad, to come back later the same day at 3:00 p.m. I got there a few minutes early and I sat waiting for my appointment, I watched at least four people/families get extremely upset and walk out. There were a lot of angry people in there and leaving for the exact same reason as mine. Most of them were upset for lack of customer service, lack of knowledge, and just plain down rude and not helpful. As such, at 3:08 p.m. I got up and went to the counter and asked if they could check me in because my appointment was at 3:00 and I was in a rush to pick my son up from school. I explained my situation to the geek squad technician, who very rudely and quickly inform me that they could not help me and that I was to go to a local battery store to buy a battery myself and put it in. Or, I could go buy the battery, make ANOTHER appointment to bring it back and they would put it in for a $40 service charge. This was absolutely ridiculous to me, considering, we have an account that we pay for with geek squad as well as bought thousands of dollars worth of electronics from them. I informed the geek squad technician that I have wasted my time coming to their store twice today. When I explained the situation with my laptop to the customer service technician earlier that day, they could have explained this to me at that point and not asked for me to come back later in the day with my electronics. He quickly, rudely, and very sassy, said that our customer service technicians that work at Best buy are not trained to know this information. I thought that was the most absurd and ridiculous response that I have ever heard. Why are they chasing their tails and wasting people's time!? Don't have your customer service even set up appointments if that is the situation! Get it together people and figure out a new system that is efficient for all! Stupid, just plain stupid!
Everybody should have to speak directly to geek squad about what their issue is and if an appointment is necessary and if they are able to fix it or not. Geek squad at this location is extremely rude, lazy, not knowledgeable and worthless. My family will never give them another dollar and we will never refer anybody to buy from...
   Read moreMy wife and I went and bought appliances from here and the sales experience was great, can not remember the associates name but was smooth scheduling delivery and installation the whole thing was good. We opted in for the total tech package which included installing and removing the old units. Set a time and when they arrived they stated they could not install the dishwasher due to a plumbing upgrade needed (no big deal). We contacted our family contractor to have the update, once done we scheduled a follow up to have installed. Day of installation comes and no call, no one show so my wife reaches out to explain her disappointment and to get it rectified. She was promised a call back from a manager within 48 hours. No call was ever received. So today we go into the store to get a full refund of the total tech service, we go to the customer service desk, and were told it has to be done on the app. Basically a ploy to get us to leave but we tried right there at the desk and this was not true. So she attempted to process the refund and miraculously she was able to refund 3/4 of the service that we didnât use. So we asked to speak to a manager. The âSupervisorâ Brandon comes out after 10 minutes of punching on the computer offers us almost half of what the customer service representative offered us, when I stated that wasnât good enough his response was â well itâs going to have to beâ and handed us a receipt. My wife asked for contact information from someone higher and he had no reply, that he didnât know who that was and to reach out to best-buy directly. Reach out to Best Buy and they were no help. How is this how you do business!? No call back and rude âsupervisorsâ? Do not buy the total tech they offer and straight up do not do business with Best Buy.
