Expect at least a half hour wait even if you’re just getting a drink. In addition, a person who came in after me that ordered a drink and corn dog received their drink first and they told them they’re working on their food. Another couple ordered 2 drinks and 2 poke bowls and got them before me.
Meanwhile my drink had just been sitting on the counter and I have no updates as to where they are in the order of which they’re serving their customers. Eventually the man who received his order first had to call someone over to talk to me because he saw I had been there for so long—they brought my drink over immediately after that.
My drink ended up not having sugar bc they were so busy they forgot, and I witnessed a girl wipe her nose with her hand, no gloves, and touched the tea with her fingers.
I went here twice to give them a second chance since the first time I went it was a Saturday night and I figured they were just too busy. The next morning it was slower and even more chaotic. The reason I know my drink from the night before didn’t have sugar was because I ordered the same drink today and it tasted less bland bc of the sugar in it. I had to ask to make sure that I didn’t have to specify that I wanted sugar with each drink order.
Also telling another customer that you hope they “find peace” for leaving a review of their experience at your store is extremely unprofessional. On top of that, the passive aggressive tone taken with those who only gave low stars without a comment shows a lack of character.

Read moreThere is not much to say that hasn’t already been said about Mochi Mama but this place deserves another shout out from a grateful customer!
I am a mom of six kids and it’s always a struggle to find a place where everyone is happy and satisfied so when Mochi Mama popped up with fried Korean corn dogs, drinks of all kinds, Mochi donuts (for those who have never had Mochi products it is a soft chewy texture unlike anything you’ve probably tried) and poke bowls for our seafood lovers— I knew we would be regulars. On top of that it is completely HALAL!! Yes I said it HALAL…don’t walk, run to get you some!
As expected, it is usually pretty busy with lines however staff was super calm and professional and they had a good system for getting orders out. We didn’t mind the short wait because it’s just a cute well decorated spot to hang out.
We have tried their donuts, corn dogs of different types and most of their drinks…you can’t really go wrong with anything you try. Will need to go back for a poke bowl soon.
Thanks to the owners who decided to finally open a quality shop to save us the time, energy and $$$ driving hours to another state to get our Mochi fix.

Read moreThe love and care that has gone into mochi mama is so, SO CLEAR. I have been waiting for this place to open for what feels like forever.
I came in this evening to order half a dozen donuts. The price was as expected for 6, but my one gripe is that at the counter, no one told me all that was left was lychee. Don't get me wrong, lychee is ok, but I never would have bought 6 donuts of lychee. Just 1. But I'd already paid and they could do nothing. My suggestion is make sure your workflow in the evening is tight. Let customers know if you've run out of flavors AT the counter. Either have a sign with the flavor crossed out or have the cashier let them know. Although I really wanted an original, I can't justify spending $19 more on another half dozen this week. I'll be back next week though!
The donuts were light, fluffy, and airy. The frosting on top wasn't too hard and the lychee flavor really did come through strongly. The decor is fabulous, and the boxes are cute. well done mochi mama. I will...
