J C Nail Salon — Local services in Lower Paxton Township

My mom, my sister, and myself walked in and asked for 3 manicures and 2 pedicures. Though we did not have an appointment, Cindy and Jerry made it work and were able to give us all the service we asked for. The salon is very clean, I saw Jerry open new packs of tools for my pedicure and immediately placed the metal tools in the cleaning area after he used them on me. My pedicure was amazing!! Cindy did my manicure. I asked for a full set of pink and white dip, she explained to me that if I don’t want my nails longer (which I didn’t) that she would recommend getting a gel polish instead and paint white tips on. She was honest and not looking to just make money off me! She and Jerry were easy to talk to, kind, generous people. I will be going back to them for all of my nail care needs. Worst nail experience I’ve had yet! Waited an hour to get sat, and was told my mom and I would be able to get done at the same time. After waiting an hour, only I was able to get done. Took over an hour and a half for an acrylic set! Asked before coming back if they could do a marble design - I was assured they could. It looks awful! It looks like a 6 year old drew on my nails with a sharpie. I paid $55 for a set that took forever and looks terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for professional treatment or well designed nails!

I needed a change, so I searched Google and found this lovely place. I decided to give this place a try because of the great reviews. I'm sure glad I did! Not only did I find a great new place, but I also feel like I made a great new friend. I have been getting my nails done for many years, and I know quality when I see it. Cindy knows what is best for each individual depending on what type of nails you have so that you can get the best results. That makes me so happy when I know I'm in good hands getting my nails done.
