Harleysville Community Center — Local services in Lower Salford Township

I called and emailed numerous times to speak with a manager. This went on for weeks and no one had the decency to call me back. I had to go in person to get the attention of a manager. Even still, they did not address my issue. We had received a membership for my foster son, and unfortunately the first day we went someone pooped in the pool. My already traumatized foster son did not want to return. I offered to pay the daily rate and requested our membership money back so that the money could be used for other activities for my foster son. The manager took weeks to get back to me, and all I received was a lame email that said no we will not do that. I am very disappointed in the management at Harleysville Community Center. One of the few places around where you can actually pay for the day at a pool. I live in the Sanatoga area and most of the pools out this way are membership only. I used to go to this pool over 10 years ago when I previously lived in the Limerick. They've done a couple of improvements to the pool for the kids, which is nice, but they also have a second pool that you can swim laps or the adults can just hang out away from the smaller pool that's mostly for kids.

This is my family's local Community Center. We've had many years of fun on this property. There are eight baseball fields ranging from T-ball for the tots through a Connie Mack Stadium. The community center also houses the local scouting cabin, Uncle Norm's Pavilion (a great place for outdoor events with a covered pavilion 10 – 12 picnic tables and electricity) and the community pool.
