Outstanding service.
To say the least.
I was having iPhone issues and I needed it handled immediately for work. Unfortunately, by the time I got to the store, it was 7:53pm and that location closes at 8:00pm. As they prepared to close up shop for the night, after what was I’m sure, a long day of dealing with an overabundance of ridiculously stupid tech questions and customers that don’t know the difference between an iPhone and a Foreman Grill, here I come, walking in the front door holding a 3 year old iPhone 6 with a cracked screen. I’m sure (and I don’t blame them) their first thoughts were most likely a toss up between “FOR REAL?” and/or “HERE WE GO...”
With 7 minutes to spare before closing time, Jake and Alex made sure that I was serviced to the best of their abilities. I didn’t even expect them to make an attempt to help me since they were trying to go home...but they did. Not only did they make sure I got my issues Re solved, they even went out of their way to make sure I got EVERYTHING that I needed. All the while, staying behind an extra 20 minutes past their shifts. They did all this - without even a HINT of attitude.
I usually don’t feel the need to comment or review merchants, stores, services, etc on the internet. But the professionalism that I experienced earlier tonight was well worth taking a few minutes of my time to let it be known - TCC Verizon in Harleysville is one-of-a-kind.
I want to individually thank Jake for going out of his way to make sure that I got what I needed so I could get right back to doing my job.
I also want to individually Alex for making sure it got done quickly and efficiently without hurting my pockets too much.
So if you’re in the Harleysville area and you’re a Verizon Wireless customer, this is the place to go. Ask for Alex or Jake.
Whoever the boss is over there at TCC Verizon, please give Alex and Jake a raise. I dread going to cell phone stores because it’s usually a frustrating experience. After this, I’ll actually be referring TCC Verizon to all my family and friends in the...
Read moreThe staff are pleasant enough. But I just got the old "bait and switch " yesterday . I went to the store because I had a email promo from Verizon offering a "bring your own device" promo ($150.00 per line) and new and improved pricing. I went over the details carefully, agreed to a no frills, low data ( 2gb) plan. Was supposed the be $66.00 / mo for 2 lines. No activation fee. By the time I got home there was my estimated bill and plan in my email box. Much to my surprise, my plan changed to a more expensive plan, there was an activation fee added, and $5.00 month Verizon cloud service. And no credit for the promo. First bill $188.00. After that, $92.14. + taxes and fees When I called and ask about it the response was " come on, you know you have to pay an activation fee" . When I ask about the different plan they said it was a glitch, and because I don't have a contract I can go in and change it at any time. Same for the $5.00 cloud service charge. In fairness, the did tell me the $66.00 did not include taxes etc. so It would be higher. My recommendation is be sure you get everything in writing at the store. Don't let them email it to you. You only have 3 days to cancel or get stuck with activation fees and some other charges. I just walked next door to T Mobile. No activation fee. $70.00 / month includes 2 lines, unlimited talk , text, data. Unlike Verizon which scales up price wise for data usage. Also The $70.00 is " all in" no additional charges. Taxes included. Verizon even has a charge called "add ons" and "surcharges". These are not discussed when you sign up. In short, if they will not give you the agreement in writing, while you are...
Read moreI went to this Verizon store just to pick up a router—something that should have been a quick and simple process. When I arrived, I waited for 10 minutes with no acknowledgment before leaving. I came back, hoping for better luck, only to wait another 20 minutes without so much as a "we’ll be right with you." I understand that the employees were busy, but one was stuck on a phone transfer for over an hour, and the other spent 20 minutes watching a customer struggle to log into their ID.me account. I get that they didn’t want to leave those customers, but completely ignoring other people waiting in the store is unacceptable. A simple "we'll be with you shortly" would have gone a long way, but instead, I wasted over 30 minutes just standing there. When I finally mentioned the wait to one of the employees, their response was simply, "That’s the way it goes." Seriously? No apology, no effort to help—just indifference. Terrible customer service. I expected way better...
