Elevated Eats — Restaurant in Lower Salford Township

I've driven by this place and have been wanting to try it, even checked the menu on line a while back, so today was they day. First, when I went inside, I felt like I was at the food court in a mall, nothing inviting or cool about it which is a shame because it's in a nice building. But I thought, okay as long as. the food is good. First I ordered the soup of the day which was a sweet corn soup. $10 for a bowl of soup but it sounded good. It was a huge bowl of soup and was very good so that was good. Downhill from there. I ordered the Bullfrog Burger with chips. The chips appeared to be house made, nice and crispy but would have been much better if they were hot or at least warm like most other restaurants that serve their own chips. Taste was okay. There was supposed to be a "crispy onion ring" but it was barely cooked. I could see it wasn't at all crispy but bit into it anyway and the batter it was dipped in was raw inside and the onion mushy, It was completely inedible. Next I noticed the bacon was also undercooked, but edible. Definitely not crispy. As for the burger, it had no taste whatsoever. Honestly, it was like it was from a fast food place, but truly a Wendy's burger would have been better. They say they serve "elevated" gourmet sandwiches and this was anything but. I would have spent half the price at Wendy's. Overall, below average food (except for the soup) and the only thing that was elevated about any of it was the price-$36 for a burger, soup and a diet coke which was $3.50. All that being said, my server Jen was great! She was nice and attentive and everything a server should be. Thank you Jen! My wife and I took our kids to The Vault today and ordered a ton of food from Elevated Eats to take to Neshaminy Creek Harleysville Taproom (also in The Vault!). All of our food was absolutely delicious, we were blown away!!! The menu was full of Philadelphia favorites, some with a unique twist to make it a one-of-a-kind Harleysville sandwich! We got the Philly cheesesteak, which is house shaved salt cured rib eye steak meat, seasoned so good!!! We got it with extra house made cooper sharp wiz (they take cooper sharp cheese and turn it into a wiz, it was so salty and creamy!!!). We also got the Elevated Italian Hoagie, which is mortadella, prosciutto, spicy capicola, pepperoni, sharp provolone, cherry pepper relish, and of course oil/vinegar/salt/pepper etc. - so so good! (The cherry pepper relish was a nice touch!). On a seeded Liscio's roll with homemade kettle cooked chips! We also got the Italian Roast Pork Sandwich, with seasoned slow roasted pork, sharp provolone, cherry pepper relish, and broccoli rabe on another seeded Liscio's roll with hand cut fries! The hand cut fries were amazing! It's very easy to order - you can either sit down at Elevated Eats itself and a waiter will serve you, or you can order it to go, or you can go to Neshaminy Creek Harleysville Taproom and use a QR code there to order (which is what we did) - they will then just text you when all your food is ready, you pick it up and walk it over to the taproom. My daughter’s family lives in Harleysville, and when we visit from Pittsburgh we frequently order from Sammy’s, which we love. We got to try Elevated Eats this time! Clean and recently renovated business, casual industrial setting. Fully occupied very casual room in a multi business space at Elevated Eats for lunch, and only Sammy and one cook, and the 2 lovely front of house ladies had food on the table within I bet 10 minutes of ordering. Truffle cheese fries, cheese sticks, onion rings, 3 smash burgers, Boomer steak sandwich and a Bleu Berry panzanella salad. All hot, fresh and delicious. Very difficult to make a menu choice with so many excellent options and specials. Good sized portions, just like Sammy’s. High end ingredients are very evident.
