I went into Target and spent quite a bit of money, including 2 different baby monitors. There were signs in front of the baby monitors that stated in bold print that I would receive a gift card if I spent a certain amount of money, which is what prompted me to purchase the monitors (as I did not specifically go into the store to purchase any baby monitors) if I open over $100 on "baby care" items. Christina was my cashier when I checked out. She spent a LOT of time helping me install the Target app (I'm awful with technology) and told me all of the benefits and how to use the app in in order to receive all possible discounts. When I checked out, Christina told me that my baby monitors did not qualify as "baby care" items. I questioned this and told Christina that there was a sign in front of the monitors describing the discount. She had Anna go check on this, and Anna came back and told me that these cards were not for baby monitor purchases. I still knew what I had seen, so I asked to speak to a manager and Melissa (a manager) went to the baby area of the store with me. I showed her the sign that I had seen. She showed me the part of the sign (in very small print) that described what items qualified for the gift cards, and, it did not include baby monitors. However, Melissa determined that the sign was improperly placed right by the baby monitors and apologized. She then gave me the gift cards that I thought I was supposed to get. All 3 of these ladies were nothing by kind and understanding.    Read moreI have never been treated so rudely before by a Target Customer Service person or a manager. I called to complain about an item that they carry in store and was given the target online phone number but when I asked for the managerâs name because the associate was being so rude, he hung up on me. I called back and they answered but didnât say anything and then hung up on me a second time. I called back a third time and a manager answered but when I asked about getting the name of the employee who had hung up on me, the manager got defensive and claimed she could do nothing because any employee could have answered and she had no idea who it could have been. She also knew all about my reasons for calling about the item which I had not told her about so I know she knew who the associate was. A good manager would have apologized for the rude customer service and if they didnât feel comfortable giving me the employees name could have simply said sheâd address it with the employee, but instead the manager who said her name was âJessâ said she could help me return the original item but could not do anything about the mistreatment I received over the phone. She was unprofessional and would talk over me and I find it hard to understand how she became a âteam leadâ I would totally expect this behavior from staff at a Walmart but didnât expect to be so rudely...
   Read moreI went during a blizzard here because its closer to my home and it was apsolutly an a emergency my 2 weeks old needed bottle nipples. I was there 1 hour before they closed even called before I went knowing some store had closed due to weather and power outages. I get there and the doors are locked No Sing posted stating they were closed, so I call again the rep hangs up on me. At this point I was highly irratated and asked for a manager he was the one who answered. HE DIDNT EVEN GIVE ME A CHANCE TO CLEARLY EXPLAIN WHY I ASKED FOR HIM SO ITS CLEAR THAT HE WAS THE ONE WHO ANSWERED EVEN THOUGH HE SAID HE DIDNT WHEN HE WAS THE ONLY ONE ON THE PHONE HIGHLY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND ITS ALL DUE TO THE WEATHER HE SAID. NOT MY PROBLEM MR. BRANDEN. THEN HAS THE NERVES TO BE IN A CONVERSATION WITH HIS SUPERIOR WHILE CHECKING ME OUT WITH WHAT LITTLE I FOUND ON THE SHELFS (I WAS WILLING TO DROP 100$+ ONLY 27$ WORTH WAS ON THE SHELF)I OVER HEAR HIM RECIEVEING THE "OK" TO GO AHEAD AND CLOSE.
