We grabbed some subs for dinner here around 7:00 on 7/19. We were boisterously greeted by the entire staff as soon as we walked through the door. Everyone was very kind and helpful, and within moments of our arrival we had our orders taken and were filling up our fountain drinks, of which they had plenty of options. I got the BBQ Cuban sub, which was a beautiful blend of sweet bbq sauce, salty pork, and spicy yet tangy pickles. A scrumptious sandwich indeed. And my son got the Italian sub, which he said was extremely good as well. Overall, we enjoyed our food and had a good time.

Minus the Gender Confused Cashier, The Staff was very Friendly. This was the 2nd try at this Location, W0W... WASTE of $$! If You're going to Charge THAT MUCH FOR A S A N D W I C H ...IT BETTER BE WORTH IT!!! Sadly it is NOT!!! Stale Bread. Small Portions. No BRISKET, only Roast Beef in what I REQUESTED.... Order was fast. Flavor was lacking. I don't even want my $$ back, it was That Sad. WILL NOT Be going back.

I ordered a club on a sub with a gluten free bun, and it came with just meat on it. The sandwich was $14, and I got $5 worth of food. It was supposed to come with lots of toppings and I only took off tomatoes and the mustard, but I didn’t mean take everything off. It was very busy but that isn’t an excuse for my expensive sandwich to be terrible.

The subs at this place are excellent! Have eaten at this place twice now and the service and food quality are the same between both visits. Have only tried one of the subs so far, but will have to try others during future visits. The staff were friendly and took little to no time to have my order ready to go. Plus, one really neat part about this restaurant is that they support first responders if you choose to donate a portion of your purchase. There subs are definitely a step above Subway and who wouldn't want to support first responders. Certainly will be back many more times, so I can try some of the other great subs they also offer. Driving home from Colorado, stopped in Lubbock for the night. We were craving Firehouse and found this location not far from the hotel. Got there maybe 10 minutes before closing time and might as well have been the first guest of the day with the enthusiastic greeting I received. All three kids working were friendly and warm. Got both sandwiches and all three thanked me on the way out. I had my usual (Steamer - Fully involved) and my wife had her usual turkey. Both were hot and fresh, again this was within ten minutes of their closing time. Wish I’d gotten their names so I could shout them out personally, but kudos to the operator of this location for your hiring and training! Great experience at the end of a long day! Tonight I purchased a small Thanksgiving turkey sub and a medium Thanksgiving in a bowl. When I got home, the medium bowl didn't have any more ingredients than the small. This is not my first time at this store with bad food results. It's typical from the help not knowing what they are doing. The last 3 times I purchased at this store, we got the wrong subs or the toppings were wrong. I'm just not sure why people don't care about their job and found a good job instead of just being there to connect a paycheck.
