THIN GA HA Asian market — Local services in Lufkin

I absolutely love this place. It's always well stocked and they accommodated my needs.

I love to experiment with new dishes, and although I was there getting supplies for an Asian dish, I was mentally prepping for an African dish that I wanted to try.

So I asked the guy if they carried Palm oil, which they didn't have at the time, but he assured me that they would have it the next time I came, and sure enough he kept his word.

He also inquired about products such as casava root(To make fufu) and about if I knew of more people needing supplies.

I believe that Lufkin is a growing town, bringing in more culturally diverse people.

I also believe that food brings happiness & It's good to see a business that caters to that joy!

Stopped by here while passing thru the town

As other reviewers have said, they have a great selection. It's obvious they go out of their way to not just carry the usual flavors

Some language barrier with cashier:

"We see you carry Pho. Do you have a favorite flavor you'd recommend?"

"What?"

"Pho... " (yes I was pronouncing it correctly, not the English way)

"What?"

"Vietnamese soup... Are there any in the store you recommend?"

look of irritation "I'm not Vietnamese"

"I wasn't trying to say you.... nevermind. I guess we're ready to check out"

Absolutely 💯 great experience! The owner was very friendly, kind, helpful, and welcoming. This is the cleanest and most organized Asian supermarket I've seen. The store presentation deserves a solid 💯 and the prices are reasonable. They have fresh refrigerated products available and many favorite traditional brand varieties. I highly recommend 👌 this store to everyone! Thank you for being so kind and welcoming on our first visit. You deserve 🙌 my highest Google score...
