Oh the smell on that hill!!! Yes! Our tour guide was amazing ( ask for Debbie) she knew it all and more. The tasting was grand, you are surrounded by all the barrels and the smell. The lay out of everything was awesome, the waiting area has lots to see and read, they have the white rabbit bottle room ( the only place you can purchase Jack on the count that you are in a dry county) and a quick walk to the town square they have a gift shop and a couple restaurants....
Read moreUnbelievably the centre of Lynchburg remains quaint. Just a town square with a mixture of Independent stores. Naturally most are selling Jack Daniels items. Interesting to see a Harley souvenir store and as of July 2019 an Indian Motorcycle store is also being built. I love they way their is a nice bridge over the river between the distillery visitors center and the town square. They also have a fair amount of events scheduled too. ...
Read moreWhen I visited Lynchburg the distillery and gift shop were closed because of the pandemic. I was able to see some of the outdoor pieces of the Jack Daniels heritage. Many local business in the town square selling everything from Jack inspired coffees to whiskey flavored ice cream. Endless novelty shops selling everything Jack Daniels under the sun. Some of the local BBQ is the ranks with the best I've had. Of course...
