B&B African Hair Braiding — Local services in Lynchburg

I walked in and made an appointment two weeks out because I wanted them to see how much hair I had so that it’s not a shock to them. Owner was rude and short with me. But I figured maybe that’s just how she interacts with people. I come in for my appointment and my experience was terrible. I truly should have gotten up and left. I asked the braider to grip looser on my sides because it’s very sensitive, the owner (not my braider) responded “knotless doesn’t hurt” . I explained to them that even when I braid my own hair I have to braid looser on the sides . The owner looked at me as though I spat on her. My braider continued to grip the same way and even began rushing towards the end and I could feel my hair pooping. She wasn’t careful at all with parting. I kept hearing them say “American” after I made my request and my braider even began mimic “crying”. It was horrendous. They didn’t treat any of the customers the way they treated me. i was so discouraged by this hair shop as i used to live locally and the only option was this shop the braids when doing micros were once the BEST small,neat,a better variety or hair color along with quality of hair. My hair is completely natural i was charged additional 20 dollars because my hair was "natural and could not be done with out flatironing" which i had never added heat to my hair annoyed to say the least the braids for "micros" were considerably bigger than usual the hair is supposedly "real" but you can clearly tell its synthetic all around i appreciate all the times my hair was done correctly here but the quality now has gone down where it once felt you were paying for the best its like you're now paying all your money to be disappointed will look for...
