Weenie Stand — Restaurant in Lynchburg

My son & his girlfriend live in Lynchburg. I had never heard of Weenie Stand. They were excited to take me! Boy, I am not disappointed that they did! I told Hubby he has to try that! My burger was excellent! I didn't know that anyone could put thatuch cheese ona burger & I am a cheese LOVER! My only disappointment was that I could not eat all of the food that I ordered! The hotdog was great! The burger was fabulous! The fries were good. Hubby wasn't disappointed to get my leftovers! We will definitely be back. This place has to be one of Lynchburg's best kept...

Exactly what you want a hot dog place to be!!! The Weenie Stand is a dineresque, dive like (meant entirely in a good way), quick and inexpensive hot dog and hamburger joint. If you're looking for the chain atmosphere if an Applebee's or the like, this isn't the place to go. If you're looking for an amazing dog(s) that is so good you'll inhale it, stop looking, the Weenie Stand has it! This is all based on my first visit that involved inhaling two dogs with everything, but I will be back eating lunch there...

Good hotdogs. Burger wasn't too bad either. Place is a little run down and could use a little cleaning/updating. Here out of town for work and wanted to try a hotdog shop for lunch, so we decided to stop here. Had a couple chili-cheese dogs, a burger and some fries. Also had a sweet tea which was good as well. May stop back, but would definitely go back if they put a little work...
