So this BK much like the one on Florida Ave/Campbell Ave never really has their shake machine up and running. I left a similar review for that BK too but worse. Also, true story...my husband, kids and I went to Whytheville KOA last year camping and otw we stopped at EVERY SINGLE BK we cld find to get chocolate Oreo shakes and whopper's. But every time we stopped they told us the Same Thing...our machine is down rn sorry. It's like they Train them to tell this lie. Idk how it was possible but I am Not kidding u when I say otw back we did the same thing just to see if we were right and Every one was like that..we found ONE BK along the way back that we hadn't stopped at before bc it was slightly out of our way and they were the ONLY BK in VA who had a "working" shake machine!! 😮 We were in Awe! What are the odds...Seriously?? I don't believe it's a coincidence. I believe they Must b trained this way at ALL BKs for this to happen. I suppose its just not a Priority at BK to have them up a.d running and they've been told as much so they don't care to mess w them unless management Makes them. Just my theory but for this I give ALL BKs a poor review. Now I call ahead and ask if the machine is working before going to any BKs and if not I don't waste my time. Hope this helps some of u. And dare u to try the BK shake run challenge on ur next road trip!! LOL. Stop at every BK for a shake just to see if their machine is up. Mark off how many were and weren't IF u have some that r (doubtful) and naturally after u Find a shake don't buy anymore just ask and then say NVM. But trust me u PROB won't have to worry about it. They...
Read moreThis has to be one of the worst burger king experiences I've ever had, and that's a pretty low bar. Part of the blame is the truck in front of me. Took a long time ordering and then when he got to the window, I could see that they were retaking/changing the order. I don't know if the staff got it wrong or he changed it. Waiting for him at the box and the window was well over 10 minutes. I wanted to just pull away and give up on the order and leave, but this facility has a very narrow drive thru that locks you in. So I was stuck waiting. Might as well get the order if I can't leave, which I guess is the reason why they designed it like a trap.
Despite having sat in line for 15+ minutes, my food wasn't ready when I got to the window. I wasn't told when ordering that one of my items would have to be cooked, but I've worked for fast food before. There was plenty of time to drop them between when I ordered to getting to the window. There was only two cars in line but they didn't warn me of a wait or actually cook the food. I heard them say they were dropping the food AFTER they took my card and charged me.
I typed the whole review while waiting in the parking lot. The food still isn't here. I will never be back, but I don't think that...
Read moreWould not give 1 star if I had that option. When I arrived to this Burger King location 2 days ago, one cashier was hanging out in her car and the other was around the side of the building near the dumpster. My father and I walked in and stood at the register without being acknowledged by any of the other employees in the store. One cashier finally came in after a few minutes. Her uniform was filthy, and she had a scowl and didn't look at us or speak to us. There were no other customers there. When my father began to order, she completely disregarded him and started talking to the employee who was working the drive through. Once we had her attention, order was placed and the second employee came in. At least she said hello and asked how we were doing, but that was the extent of any decency we were given in that place. I didn't trust that the order I was given was handled appropriately for the way the two girls acted, so I took a loss for spending money on it and just tossed the burgers away when I left. The vibe was very intense and...
