Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Lynchburg

DO NOT EAT AT THIS PIZZA HUT! Ordered over phone asked for extra cheese and 3x extra sauce...simple right? WRONG! Such simple instructions that even a monkey could follow...yet was delivered a pizza with barely any sauce at all and NO extra cheese...called back and spoke with Crystal again whom originally took my order and told her that the pizza had hardly any sauce and no extra cheese..she stated that she would send me out another pizza made correctly this time..waited 2 hours! No pizza! Called Crystal back, she said 2nd pizza was on the way... Received 2nd pizza...same thing...no extra cheese and barely any sauce at all...I called back third time and spoke with "manager" "Heather"....explained to her for 3rd time that the pizza had no sauce and no extra cheese...I was put on "hold" while she was conversing with employees about who delivered the pizza, rather than who COOKED the pizza...Heather finally said that she would deliver me 2 pizzas for all of the trouble..she said that I would receive them within 30 minutes... delivery driver arrived with 1 pizza...not 2..my husband brought the pizza inside our loft (and yes my husband had to walk all of the way out to parking lot 3 times after heart surgery because the drivers refused to bring the pizzas inside our building) after bringing the 3rd pizza inside and opening the box, my husband and I were in complete shock and disbelief at what was delivered to us...PHOTOS ATTACHED!...looked nothing like a pizza...sauce and cheese were everywhere...soaked through bottom of box...most of the cheese had slid to one side..totally unbelievable! The pizza was obviously cooked this way on purpose...I called the store back..a 4th time! Asked for manager "Heather" again..employee asked my name, I gave my name, put on hold, employee came back only to say that "Heather is doing inventory"..how convenient, right? I went on to describe how disgusting the pizza was and even offered to email photos..he stated " all of us here have seen it"...I asked who cooked the pizza...he said "Heather..the manager"...I could not believe what I was hearing! I asked "what is your position?" He stated " delivery driver"...I quickly realized that someone was listening on another line..(most likely Heather, the manager) while she sat cowardly in a corner after purposely, with malice..cooked a 3rd pizza for a valued customer which only required extra cheese and extra sauce to begin with...abused her power and with malice, made something indescribable that she apparently calls a "pizza" which was so completely disgusting it was inedible.. Heather obviously took it upon herself to treat me, a valued customer horribly by her personally cooking and sending out a 3rd "pizza" that was absolutely disgusting and inedible..while putting a delivery driver up to "cleaning up her mess"! In my 49 years of living on this earth, as a previous business owner...as a previous manager in the hospitality industry, raised by a mother and father whom both taught hospitality management, I have NEVER encountered such immaturity, incompetency, lack of management skills, and a basic fundamental inability to not only try to satisfy me as a customer..but the total opposite..to intentionally mistreat me..For Heather, the manager to step to such a low as to act with malice..to intentionally try and make a situation worse rather than try to please..to satisfy me as a valued customer...it's just beyond belief..there is no excuse for her actions and certainly no space for her in the hospitality industry whatsoever! Whomever hired this person should be ashamed..certainly Heather should be ashamed...and all of the employees at this particular Pizza Hut that witnessed her actions and did nothing should be ashamed...Heather, if you are reading this, I feel sorry for you..you need to seek professional help being that you were capable of your actions this evening..you are a hateful and heartless individual....you may want to consider employment in assembly line work, as after I contact corporate, that will be about all you will be...

I’m giving 2 stars because I usually order the Same food: personal pizza with pepperoni & spicy garlic wings.

However, Sunday,New Years Day I decided to order stuffed over pizza for two. It was burnt with hardly anything inside! I also asked to leave out the marinara sauce which they gave any way.

Today thinking clearly I looked in my wallet and I know I had $25, but it was empty. The evening I placed the order I was told to keep it or throw it away since it cannot be returned. The order was $12.00

I decided to order my usual personal pizza and wings which was another $12. I paid cash for both of these orders so I have no recourse and there are no receipts given.

I felt bad the first time not having enough to give the driver a tip. So when he arrived the second time I paid for the order in full and had $2 left which I gave to the driver.

I told the driver, who was the same driver to keep the left over change as well. I realized today when I looked in my wallet that I had paid for both orders in cash.

Now after speaking to the rude manager that hung up on me, I would not be getting a refund or a credit!

I would advise not using cash because they do not give out receipts for your order. I hate to think that the driver kept the $12.00, but he did. I would not recommend this store for food. The only thing that is edible is the wings and personal pizza. However, make sure you count you change and ask for a receipt, especially if you pay in cash.

Sadly this store has no empathy as I needed that money to pay for medicine and knowing that I had $25 in my wallet and kept half $12.50, the manager couldn’t care less! It’s all about the money and she rudely hung up on me when she had no answer...

If I could give it 0 stars I would, I order a pizza today and first they put me on hold then I ordered my pizza and it took 45 minutes for the pizza to get to my house and when the pizza came it was cold and had no tomato sauce, and when I called back I was then put on hold again, when she finally answered the phone she told me that I would have to come all the way to the store and switch it out, and this wasn't a one Time thing, the last time we went to the store, and ordered a large pizza, we sat and waited for little over an hour and as we waited the employee's had a loud conversation about this female that had caught AIDS we went to the front and asked about are pizza and they handed it to us forgetting that we were even there, and after they saw that we were disappointed they gave us a Pettie apology, later that week I saw the same man who had served us and I told him about his self, and he said,"it ain't nothing but a paycheck to me so I don't care" I wrote this review to tell anybody reading this, don't go to the Pizza Hut on memorial Ave it's not...
