Harbor Freight — Local services in Lynchburg

As someone who owns a small business I need good quality reliable tools that will perform well time and time again. I shop at Harbor Freight because their pro line of Hercules (even their DIY line of Bauer) can do just as well as the competition and for a much better price point! I can't recommend those tools brands enough. They have honestly saved me thousands and help me to service my customers without fail.

I shop at this particular Harbor Freight because the team here is AMAZING! Extremely knowledgeable, kind, understanding, and eager to help. I'm in this store pretty often and I'm always treated the same each and every time. Thanks to this team, my small business has continued to grow. Each time I have a need for a tool to help my customer, they know what I need and they make sure I get it. Anytime I've had an issue with an item (which I don't very often) they are happy to replace it or offer me a better version of it. I never feel pressured to hurry in this store, I always feel welcome, and I'm encouraged to ask questions. I love this place.

Such a rude and offputting experience. Went in excited to get me a weedeater and a rotery tool for my wife. Spotted someone greeted him in a friendly way. I was treated as if I wasn't worth his time, he insulted me, and didn't take me where I needed to go (I hadn't been to this one before), when I asked if he wouldn't mind showing me I was told "Don't you have eyes?" And then he walked away. What an absolute jerk. The guy seemed like a manager too, and he was the only employee I saw the entire time until I went to check out. Don’t ever try to return anything here if you don’t happen to have your receipt. I bought something, less than a month ago, and was told that I could return it as long as I had the phone number or card I used. Well, I gave them the phone number that I ALWAYS use when making purchases here and they claimed that it wasn’t in their system, which is complete bologna! I tried them to get them to look it up with my debit card, and they flat out refused. It wasn’t like I was trying to return a high dollar item, it was an item that was under $10.
