I went here yesterday with two of my closest friends for gas, but went inside for coffee, too. One friend stayed in the car and I said that I was going to pay for her drink since she was driving. I get inside, wait at the counter longer than I should have, with nobody in line or behind the counter. I then proceed to order 2 venti java chip fraps. My friend orders another tall frap behind me. About 3 minutes later, a guy walks up that I assume was this guy's, "friend", and gets his coffee almost instantly. I then wait in the kroger for about 10-15 minutes to receive my drinks, which in a normal starbucks would only take around 3 minutes. After I get the drinks, they don't taste right at all. They taste like the milk they used was spoiled that they used in the drink. On the way out, my friend drops her straw and goes back to the counter for another one. When she approaches the employee, he thought that she had dropped her drink and said, "you b**", straight to her face. I have never encountered anything like this in a Starbucks or Kroger before, but I will not...
Read moreWhy is it businesses these days, when they remodel, they decide to go with a look that screams "We followed policy and guidelines" said in a monotone script reading voice? Grey and brown and more lights then are actually necessary. The same kind of look McDonalds went for when they lost the plot. The place needs some atmosphere, even some basic wall art of mountains or rivers or farms where the crops are grown, just something so it's not looking like the water fountain of coffee shops. And you can tell this was designed with new standards and practices in mind cause now there's a giant open dead-end section to the right of the place with nothing in it that I have to assume is going to be used for storage. I'm glad Atmosphere is one of the three areas of Google ratings because nothing kills atmosphere more then making a place look corporate and uniform. Or heck, slap a few fake plants around the place, just...
Read moreHonestly, I’m highly dissatisfied with the lack of customer service at this location in Kroger. Myself and four other customers waited 15 minutes for a barista to show up. Finally, a Kroger customer service associate walked by and I asked if anyone was working the Starbucks counter and she responded, “I don’t know, I’ll page him.” Then another Kroger employee said the barista went on break. I have no problem with someone going on break, but there was no sign visible saying that this Starbucks was technically closed while the employee was on gone and people were waiting for the barista. Myself and everyone else that waited gave up and did not get coffee. I highly recommend going to the Wards Rd or Old Forrest Rd locations if you want coffee. Especially, on a...
