The Perfect Studio for Beginners — and Beyond!

As someone completely new to yoga, I was a little nervous walking into my first class — but this studio put me at ease right away. From the moment I arrived, the staff and instructors were incredibly welcoming and kind. There’s a peaceful, inviting energy to the space that immediately makes you feel comfortable, even if you have no idea what you're doing (like I didn’t at first!).

The instructors are amazing at explaining everything clearly and offering modifications without making you feel singled out. They strike the perfect balance between encouraging and supportive, and I never once felt out of place. I’ve already noticed an improvement in my flexibility, stress levels, and overall mindset — something I never expected so quickly as a beginner.

The classes are thoughtfully paced, and there’s a wide variety to explore as I build confidence in my practice. What’s even more special is the sense of community here — people are friendly, down-to-earth, and genuinely encouraging.

If you’re new to yoga and unsure where to start, I can’t recommend this studio enough. It’s been such a positive and empowering experience, and I’m truly grateful to...

A small studio that’s clean, comfortable and well-maintained. (From the outside you might not realize what a warm and vibrant little community is waiting for you just a flight of steps away.) The instructors/workers are all passionate and incredibly supportive and welcoming.

The classes (I’ve taken) have been exciting and challenging (there’s nothing more disheartening than a dull and monotonous class).

The cost (either drop-in or package deal) is on par with most of the other places in the surrounding towns.

Classes start and end on time. (Not always the case at some other places I’ve been to.)

(Free) street parking – although the studio is mighty close to a wildly busy intersection so those prime spots might be hard to come by.

As someone that’s been (lazily) practicing yoga for eons now, I’ve been to some amazing and inspiring places as well as some… well, not so great places. And I’m happy to report that ‘Studio 108’ is most definitely high up on the list and worth checking out.

Studio 108 -Teressa thank you , I’m so happy to write a review for this particular class. I had a cleanup class a couple days ago, which followed by a assisted stretching session. When she offered an assistant stretching session I thought we were just gonna stretch like we have done before or after Yoga classes. I was wrong. It was an amazing Private session that Teressa offered. She helped stretch particular areas that I needed help with. such as tight hips are my arms or my shoulders. I never knew my legs can go as far as they could go, or that I can stretch as far as I could, and I wouldn’t of without the help of Teressa . It was such a great class and I’m so glad she offered it to me and I will continue, taking this class moving forward ....
