Kochi Po-Cha (코치포차) — Restaurant in Lynnwood

Was having a pleasant experience until I had to wait for two more of my orders that mysteriously didn’t get put into the bill. I had ordered three dishes and one had arrived however about an hour passed and my other two dishes did not come out. When politely confronting the server she had said that she saw the order (was moved to a different table) and had forgot to put it in (no problem) however another half hour came by and still nothing. Confronted again and then said that food was being prepared. After more waiting we were approached with the bill and still no food. When asked about it again she had proceeded to say that it was not on the bill and not ordered and asked if we would still like those two items. At this point it was beyond closing time and my patience was running thin. When I asked for the two dishes to go she proceeded to ask what two dishes and I gave up left angry and hungry and tired as my time has been wasted. Not once has our server offered any service and had to be approached about getting water and many other issues. Not to mention she was on her phone most of the time and even drinking on the Job. The one dish that came out was great. But the services had ruin the entire experience altogether. Will not be coming back. And will not be recommending anyone going. Server name is Courtney. I’ve been coming to Kochi Po-Cha for almost 2 years now and keep returning because the food quality and flavors are consistently amazing. The pork belly and chicken katsu are a must-have each time I go. And the late night hours and fun music make this a great spot for weekends.

The restaurant also went through a revamp within the past few months, with new tables and chairs, new menu items, and new complimentary side dishes, all of which were great decisions to improve the dining experience.

The service also improved significantly with this revamp. I notice the food comes out quicker and the servers, especially Bri, are very attentive in refilling side dishes and utensils/napkins without us asking. She provides great service from the moment we sit down to the moment we pack up and leave. We even celebrated a birthday there recently and she brought us complimentary soft serve with a candle in it, and invited a bunch of kind strangers over to sing for our table. She made our night!

Chicken was crispy n well seasoned, but inside meat was a kinda blend. Maybe more salt is needed when they marinate it. The pickle radish is good with the chicken. If u drink beer, order chicken with beer combo. It's really good deal.

Don't order regular fries, waste of money I would say. No special taste, no seasoning, no salt, boring.

Rice cake (떡볶기) is fantastic!! It's the best rice cake dish in my town I would say. I can eat this everyday!! The rice cake is soft n chewy at the same time with really good marinade.

Rice Ball is a bit blend if u eat by themselves, but if u order these with rice cake dish n dip the rice balls in the rice cake marinade, they taste just perfect!

Seafood pancake tastes good too with big chunks of squid n veggies. I don't remember if it had shrimps in it. The portion is pretty big, but u can always take it to go.

Overall, it's not the cheapest place to eat n drink, but if u come with friends n Dutch pay, it'll be perfect. U can taste variety of dishes n drink without...
