I must say I don't normally shop here because your values are not in alignment with mine and I don't want to support yours. However, my daughter and I came in on Thursday 6/19 around 1pm to look for some items, we finally made it to the check out and while the cashier was checking us out, one of your employees (white girl, redish hair, glasses) came to the front of the store and stood between the enter/exit door, threw her arms up in the air and yelled "its not even a federal holiday" since it was juneteenth it was clear what she was referring to. Now idk if you're a racist company but it sure did feel like a very white nationalist comment. Totally unprofessional especially when you're working with the public. I had some choice words for your employee. It was disgusting that she felt she has so much privilege that she doesn't have to be respectful to other races. And Im not ashamed that I told her so in so many words. This just gives me another reason not to shop at your establishment. I have never seen an employee of color in there nor any customers of color, they apparently caught on before I did. Good on them. I happen to be the daughter of a mixed mother and am a POC. I find everything that happened that day offensive and distasteful. You may be a Christian White Nationalist business, maybe you should advertise that, since those of us that believe in human rights, inclusiveness and equality shouldn't be shopping there. I will make sure to tell all my friends and post this on social media platforms to ensure they stay away from your...
Read moreI donât go to hobby lobby often, as I try to avoid it. But they carry items I canât find elsewhere in person. However, the service I received today makes me think that I shouldnât go back to this location. The first employee I saw opened the doors, and she was quite pleasant. The second employee I saw was aggressively nice the entire time I was in the store to the point I was very uncomfortable. I avoided her line at checkout. In doing so, I was âhelpedâ by a young girl (late teens, early 20s) who looked like she wanted to be anywhere else but here. She rang in an item wrong. I had to correct her to make sure she saw the add and gave me the correct sale price. She didnât engage in any conversation. Iâve worked retail at several places. I didnât want to be there either but at least I had a smile on my face and talked to my customers. This employeeâs name is Aisha. I made sure to look at her name tag to call her out. Though, I doubt hobby lobby will see this or do anything about it. I am also annoyed with the lack of stock. I know thereâs not much they can do about that, but I wanted to point it out. Hopefully this...
