This is not a kid-friendly place, especially if you have a little one. The service was good and fast. Food was ok, nothing special. But the manager’s attitude was completely unacceptable disaster!
My family came here for dinner. It was our first time and the waiting time was so bad. After waiting for about an hour, we finally we got in. Everyone was very hungry and tired, especially my little 2 kids. And while we were sitting, my little one got angry. He screamed and wanted to eat so bad. He was exhausted and starving, his screaming wasn’t that too bad!
Suddenly, a middle-aged man (I guess he is a manager) came and aggressively told us to make our kid quiet! Oh my god! What a rude!!! Very rude indeed! We were so shocked 😱 How could he just tell us to shut my toddler’s mouth! At that time, the place was so busy and very noisy. No one even heard, and complained about his screaming.
My little one is only 1 year old. And I can’t just shut him up, like he wants 😤 You know he’s just a baby! Poor little starving, exhausted kid!
It was a very unexpected and made us really upset! We have never had like this such a bad experience anywhere in this country.
Can you ask Americans to shut up their children? I don’t think so! But why did you do this to us? Do you think you can act like this, because we are Asians? I still can’t believe he asked us that!!!
We wanted to leave that place immediately, but we couldn't because our children were too hungry. And I didn't want my children to suffer because of one bad and rude employee!
Me and my family will never come back again! I told all my friends not to come here. Especially with little ones. I hope the owner and manager of this place can see this and never harasses anyone with little...
Read moreI decided to try this restaurant out and ordered take out. I normally go to H Mart to get my Kimchi soup or Sam Oh Joung. I know what good Korean food tastes like. I've been to South Korea, but you don't have to travel far to get a good kimchi stew in the neighborhood of Lynwood. I am not sure who was cooking last night but the food was poorly prepared and tasted bad. The beef Bulgogi was so dry, barely any sauce, tasted like it was reheated. The Kimchi stew broth was too sweet, not enough water, broth was thicker then usual. The soup should have a good ratio of sweet and tangy, no tang whatsoever. Also mostly pork fat not pork. But the worst thing about the whole preparation that blew my mind was the rice. It was placed in an average size styrofoam container, rather than the smaller ones that hold the rice better. Thats understandable, if they ran out, but whoever put the rice in their literally spread it out to reach all corners of the container by flattening it like a pancake i kid you not!! Rice is the most important side dish, it should be light, and fluffy and served not like its pizza. i had to cut it out instead of scoop it out and i am not exaggerating. Not enough rice also. If your Korean you would not eat rice like this! So why serve it to your customer? So my question is, who was preparing food last night? You should know better and represent the food better. I brought this food for my brother and mom to share and they also knew instantly it was not good. I don't see how this place has 5 star rating, so my only explanation is someone who prepared food was not...
Read moreWent out to eat for the first time after months and chose this restaurant due to glowing reviews and I'm so glad I did. Some of the best Korean food in the greater Seattle area and I'm Korean! I got the spicy webfoot octopus, chicken dish and it was delicious. The chicken and octopus were both so tender. I got the fried rice option where after you're done eating majority of the dish, they take it back to the kitchen and add rice, cheese, seaweed flakes, and green onions. Soooo delicious. Definitely worth the extra $3 - trust me. The service here is truly exceptional as well. A true Korean restaurant for sure. Everyone is so nice and attentive. I'm definitely coming back here and trying every dish!
Second time coming back here and the tempura udon was amazing. Best udon I've had since being here in the states. The broth is so rich and flavorful and tastes so clean. Got the octopus dish again but got it with pork and it's still really good. I think I prefer it over the chicken. Got the fried rice option again this time, of course. They say the side dishes tell you how good the restaurant is and it's so true. Best side dishes I've had in awhile and my boyfriend agrees too - he's not even Korean.
They even sell different rotating side dishes and I got the braised beef; I'm sure it'll be excellent.
The bathroom is super clean and modern which is always nice.
Definitely my favorite Korean restaurant...
