The family that bought this location in January are SO NICE! I don’t often find employees/owners who are so friendly, helpful and enthusiastic about being there. They definitely are making a great first impression on customers. They are knowledgeable of the inventory, listening to what the demographic wants to buy and ordering those items. The fruit/chicken/vegetables, nuts, granola etc are all great! OH! Does everyone remember the amazing artisan cheese selection that the old Lynnwood location had? And then they moved to this new location and had close to nothing for artisan cheese? I was so disappointed. Well…it’s back with the new owners. Maybe not as expansive as the old one but close. So much great home and garden items too. The best screw in and solar led lights around. I have numerous. The only thing I wish they would get back in is the shovels and rakes. Surprisingly the black and decker brand tools are fantastic. I’ve had two shovels and a rake for years and they hold up the same as a Home Depot one twice as expensive. I also bought last year a Stanley fat max shovel which is the best digging shovel I’ve ever used. Anyways, New family is great so go check out all the good stuff at Lynnwood...
Read moreI'd give this store 5 stars for the quality of products it carries, and the low(many of them surprisingly low), prices of those products. I'm a vegetarian and prefer organic foods, and I found a plethora of items meeting those qualifications. What takes off a star.....and should take off 2 or 3 stars, really, are some of the enoloyees...in particular the rude and busy-bodied African-American woman that works there during the closing shift. Just one example: I went there for the first time last week and asked her if they carried a specific item. She had been hovering around me shifting items to and fro on the shelves, and without even turning to face me she just slowly shook her head no, without bothering to utter a word. Then, she called another employee(young, white guy) to get on the other side of me, ostensibly to straighten up more items. At one point he even moved over and stayed right in front of me, blocking my view and actually had the nerve to say, "if I'm in your way , let me know ", as I'm clearly struggling to see around his large frame. At least he spoke politely to me, if...
Read moreBAD BUSINESS PRACTICES : I bought a box of Sugar smack cereal got home opened box they were stale. Went back today and asked to speak to a manager. Worker said she could take care of it. I told her the cereal was stale if I could get a new box. She asked if I had receipt for a box of 3 dollar cereal and I told her I am a regular shopper here so I did not care to keep it. She said she cannot return or exchange without receipt. I have been a shopper at this store since the day it opened. Didn't know a box of stale cereal would break up our business 🤔. She told me the owners were her parents very snobbish and unprofessional and that they would do nothing. So I told her that she can keep the stale box of cereal . All this drama for a simple box of stale cereal that needed to rightfully be returned. No apologies no care in the world about checking the other boxes to see if they would have been stale to save other shoppers from buying stale old cereal. They just lost me as a customer for their poor work ethics and poor food sales. I have no respect for poor...
