I live out of state and had to drive 5 hours, 1 way just to find a dress then that same distance to go back to get it altered.
Tamika was absolutely amazing she helped me find the dress of my dreams. She was helpful and also was able to pull dresses with the same style my dream board had. Thank you so much Tamika!!!!!
Now onto alterations. 7 months later, my dream dress is now ruined.. I became pregnant a few months before my wedding. Im only 25w pregnant. So not a huge bump or anything. They told me there was no problem come in 6 weeks prior to get it fitted and altered. All that was to be done was fill in the see through area, remove boob pads because they were way too small and let the dress out an inch on both sides so I had wiggle room if needed. Simple right? Wrong.. I had to go find fabric at Joanâs because they didnât have any in stock and they couldnât promise theyâd get the fabric in on time. The worst part is itâs their Champagne color.. so 1 of their main colors in some of their dresses.
Well now a week before my wedding I have these random bars around the bodice that can be clearly seen through the fabric that werenât there prior. The boob pads were not removed. They let it out maybe a quarter of an inch on both sides not an inch on both. Luckily I havenât grown anymore. They sewed in the fabric to make it not see through and sewed it onto the boob pads⌠so thereâs no way of us just removing the boob pads. My wedding is in a week and Iâm not sure what Iâm going to do. These random bars take away from the beautiful design and the boob pads make my whole chest area look odd and doesnât match at all where my boobs actually are. With them being 5 hours away I have no physical way of getting this dress back to them and having them fix it prior to the wedding. Itâs sad because I loved this dress and it really didnât need that much changed. I donât know how they screwed it up. I made it very clear remove the boob pads, I am a G cup these are meant for B cups.. they even told me to my face they will be removed no problem. I spent $1200 on the dress, 20 hours of driving, $40 at Joanâs on fabric and almost $300 in alterations. Yet my dress still wasnât done correctly.
Also looking back on other reviews I see lots of women holding up âI said yes to the dress signsâ I remember this super beautiful women trying on dresses the same day I did and I saw her taking a photo with that sign.. I was never even offered that. I didnât think about it until after I left. I guess I shouldâve noticed I wasnât being treated quite the same as others. So just beware side 14+/big busted brides.. you may not get exactly what you are...

I guarantee you'll get 1000% better service AND better priced dresses. I ended up buying a dress from them because of the professional and kindness they showed my party and I yesterday.
The appointment I booked yesterday 04-06-2024 for 6 pm was absolutely a major disappointment and I regret wasting my time at this business to say the least. I've hated this store after other visits have resulted the same. However, I wanted to at least give it a third shot. Needless to say, the biggest insult that I got an email this morning stating I missed my appointment was absolutely not the case. Thus why I am typing this review. The one thing I will say is this. Thank you to ASHLEY who was the ONLY EMPLOYEE in that store that stated she was a consultant and that she would try to help me. She stated to me that the store would close in an hour (It was 6 pm by the way) and ALL the consultants were scheduled to leave right at my appointment time. Sadly, she kept getting pulled away by another group so I didn't get any assistance from her. Shout out to you beautiful for at least trying to help me. For future customers? Here is your formal warning who wish to venture into this atmosphere and AVOID IT.
I walked in with my bridal party 15 minutes early and there was no one at the front desk. I SIGNED IN on the sheet they had in the event that someone might be walking by and see that I was there for my appointment. I walked around and saw several parties and even had one male employee (didn't catch his name) speak with my matron of honor when he noticed we were pulling our own dresses and looking lost. He stated even with an appointment? It was SELF SERVE and that NO ONE would be helping us.
So we did just that. I have pictures I took of my girls to confirm that we were physically in the store as we tried to make due with the visit. I did see at least one person consistently helping a bride next to me. But I wondered why my party wasn't getting the same treatment after I booked my appointment two weeks in advance. That particular individual helping them? Saw that we were trying on dresses and put a tag on our door without writing our names on it, to show other customers the rooms were at least being use. That was all that we had help with for the measly 45 minutes we were in there. Needless to say we didn't buy anything. And I can promise you I will NEVER return to this establishment after the treatment...
Read moreHonestly was extremely disappointed with my experience here. I came to get my braids maid dress altered and my first appointment had to be reschedule because the only employee there at the time decided they were going to leave before I arrived and there was no one else that could do it. This wouldn't have been a big deal if 1. I lived closer by (it was a 30 minute drive to get there) 2. Was informed earlier about this. I got a call from the store about the situation at 4:50 pm while my appointment was at 5 pm. I was already in the parking lot about to walk in when I received the call. I will say the manager and employee there at the time was nice and did apologize for the situation. I was informed that the woman who was supposed to alter the dress was a team lead, which I found shocking considering how she handle the situation and the extreme unprofessionalism. They scheduled me to come back the next day and offered a discount for my trouble. I appreciated the offer and I thought that was the end of the troubles. Later I dropped off my dress and was scheduled a pick up date to come get the dress. While nothing went wrong that day I could hear the alterations team arguing with who I assume to be another manager or team lead. Again it was extremely unprofessional to be yelling and arguing in front of customers the way they were. When I came to get my dress on the day I was scheduled to get it they said that it hadn't even been touched yet and that it was too early for it to be done. I was extremely confused and even showed the confirmation date that I received. They confirmed on their end that they did indeed have me down for that date but that it was still not done yet. This upset me because I had now made 3 trips up here (2 wasted ones) and was going to have to make ANOTHER trip to get my dress. I was told that I would receive another discount/refund for my troubles but it was never applied once I came back at the next appointment date. They never wrote it down. Overall the dress was nice and I appreciate that SOME of the managers and employees tried to be helpful, however a 10% discount on over a $100 alterations fee and two 1 hour (there and back home) trips wasted doesn't make up for it. Get your dress from there but go somewhere else to get...
