I live out of state and had to drive 5 hours, 1 way just to find a dress then that same distance to go back to get it altered. Tamika was absolutely amazing she helped me find the dress of my dreams. She was helpful and also was able to pull dresses with the same style my dream board had. Thank you so much Tamika!!!!! Now onto alterations. 7 months later, my dream dress is now ruined.. I became pregnant a few months before my wedding. Im only 25w pregnant. So not a huge bump or anything. They told me there was no problem come in 6 weeks prior to get it fitted and altered. All that was to be done was fill in the see through area, remove boob pads because they were way too small and let the dress out an inch on both sides so I had wiggle room if needed. Simple right? Wrong.. I had to go find fabric at Joan’s because they didn’t have any in stock and they couldn’t promise they’d get the fabric in on time. The worst part is it’s their Champagne color.. so 1 of their main colors in some of their dresses. Well now a week before my wedding I have these random bars around the bodice that can be clearly seen through the fabric that weren’t there prior. The boob pads were not removed. They let it out maybe a quarter of an inch on both sides not an inch on both. Luckily I haven’t grown anymore. They sewed in the fabric to make it not see through and sewed it onto the boob pads… so there’s no way of us just removing the boob pads. My wedding is in a week and I’m not sure what I’m going to do. These random bars take away from the beautiful design and the boob pads make my whole chest area look odd and doesn’t match at all where my boobs actually are. With them being 5 hours away I have no physical way of getting this dress back to them and having them fix it prior to the wedding. It’s sad because I loved this dress and it really didn’t need that much changed. I don’t know how they screwed it up. I made it very clear remove the boob pads, I am a G cup these are meant for B cups.. they even told me to my face they will be removed no problem. I spent $1200 on the dress, 20 hours of driving, $40 at Joan’s on fabric and almost $300 in alterations. Yet my dress still wasn’t done correctly. Also looking back on other reviews I see lots of women holding up “I said yes to the dress signs” I remember this super beautiful women trying on dresses the same day I did and I saw her taking a photo with that sign.. I was never even offered that. I didn’t think about it until after I left. I guess I should’ve noticed I wasn’t being treated quite the same as others. So just beware side 14+/big busted brides.. you may not get exactly what you are looking for.

prior to our appointment, I received a call saying they accidentally overbooked & when I called back to confirm/reschedule, I was told that it was perfectly okay for our original scheduled time as someone else had rescheduled. upon arriving, the staff was not very welcoming to us, but they were more than hospitable to the other 2 or 3 brides in the store. we started browsing through the dresses while we waited for our consultant, tamika, to approach us & when she found out we were looking for a black dress she straight up looked at us like the picture attached. this was disclosed prior to me making our appointment in the very beginning. after she introduced herself & got the details on what we were looking for, she left while we pulled our own dresses off the racks. she offered to bring us better size options to try on, but then brought us dresses that were big enough to make our bed with as well as dresses that did NOT come in BLACK. when it came down to walking out into the mirrors miss tamika would appear and repeatedly ask the bride to rate the dress 1-10 & just kept asking for a review. our following appointment was for the bridal party & we were told that all the dresses in the brides color choice for her wedding were discontinued & tried to offer up other colors.. I’m sorry for being forward, but suggesting a color change based off your inventory is quite rude & inconsiderate. ESPECIALLY, after the bride was treated that way for her preferences on HER dress. overall, the bride did not feel heard or respected & planning a wedding is not the time to treat anyone that way, regardless of how busy you may be with other customers, that shouldn’t of been overbooked in the begin with. we will not be recommending the Macon David’s bridal to anyone any time soon.

I bought my bridesmaid dress a little too big online, so I decided to take my dress to David’s Bridal in Macon Georgia on September 13th to get some alterations done. When I get called back to start my alterations on my dress the lady asked me what do you need done to my dress, I told her that my dress was a little big and I wanted her to take it in and I also wanted something done to the top part of my dress so i could feel secured and not feel like my chest was going to fall out of my dress. After I told the lady what i wanted her to do she said “ I don’t want to take the dress in on the sides because it would mess up the dress and plus the corset lining is in the way.” So I said ok but can we do something to the cup area of my dress so my chest feels secured in it she said yes we can do that, so she started fitting me for cup sizes for a push up cup and we agreed that the cup size she be a c cup. It took these people three weeks to work on my dress. I go and pick up my dress and all they did was take D cups and horribly stitched it in my dress where I can put my fingers through the stitches and plus they took two more cups and folded it in the other cups to make a push up bra. Then they put another piece of a wire or plastic stick to put in the front of my dress so my dress would lay against me.

If I could genuinely give this store in Macon a ZERO I would do it in a heart beat. If anyone is reading this? Go to Carrie's Bridal in Macon on 2nd street. I guarantee you'll get 1000% better service AND better priced dresses. I ended up buying a dress from them because of the professional and kindness they showed my party and I yesterday.

The appointment I booked yesterday 04-06-2024 for 6 pm was absolutely a major disappointment and I regret wasting my time at this business to say the least. I've hated this store after other visits have resulted the same. However, I wanted to at least give it a third shot. Needless to say, the biggest insult that I got an email this morning stating I missed my appointment was absolutely not the case. Thus why I am typing this review. The one thing I will say is this. Thank you to ASHLEY who was the ONLY EMPLOYEE in that store that stated she was a consultant and that she would try to help me. She stated to me that the store would close in an hour (It was 6 pm by the way) and ALL the consultants were scheduled to leave right at my appointment time. Sadly, she kept getting pulled away by another group so I didn't get any assistance from her. Shout out to you beautiful for at least trying to help me. For future customers? Here is your formal warning who wish to venture into this atmosphere and AVOID IT.

I walked in with my bridal party 15 minutes early and there was no one at the front desk. I SIGNED IN on the sheet they had in the event that someone might be walking by and see that I was there for my appointment. I walked around and saw several parties and even had one male employee (didn't catch his name) speak with my matron of honor when he noticed we were pulling our own dresses and looking lost. He stated even with an appointment? It was SELF SERVE and that NO ONE would be helping us.

So we did just that. I have pictures I took of my girls to confirm that we were physically in the store as we tried to make due with the visit. I did see at least one person consistently helping a bride next to me. But I wondered why my party wasn't getting the same treatment after I booked my appointment two weeks in advance. That particular individual helping them? Saw that we were trying on dresses and put a tag on our door without writing our names on it, to show other customers the rooms were at least being use. That was all that we had help with for the measly 45 minutes we were in there. Needless to say we didn't buy anything. And I can promise you I will NEVER return to this establishment after the treatment...

Honestly was extremely disappointed with my experience here. I came to get my braids maid dress altered and my first appointment had to be reschedule because the only employee there at the time decided they were going to leave before I arrived and there was no one else that could do it. This wouldn't have been a big deal if 1. I lived closer by (it was a 30 minute drive to get there) 2. Was informed earlier about this. I got a call from the store about the situation at 4:50 pm while my appointment was at 5 pm. I was already in the parking lot about to walk in when I received the call. I will say the manager and employee there at the time was nice and did apologize for the situation. I was informed that the woman who was supposed to alter the dress was a team lead, which I found shocking considering how she handle the situation and the extreme unprofessionalism. They scheduled me to come back the next day and offered a discount for my trouble. I appreciated the offer and I thought that was the end of the troubles. Later I dropped off my dress and was scheduled a pick up date to come get the dress. While nothing went wrong that day I could hear the alterations team arguing with who I assume to be another manager or team lead. Again it was extremely unprofessional to be yelling and arguing in front of customers the way they were. When I came to get my dress on the day I was scheduled to get it they said that it hadn't even been touched yet and that it was too early for it to be done. I was extremely confused and even showed the confirmation date that I received. They confirmed on their end that they did indeed have me down for that date but that it was still not done yet. This upset me because I had now made 3 trips up here (2 wasted ones) and was going to have to make ANOTHER trip to get my dress. I was told that I would receive another discount/refund for my troubles but it was never applied once I came back at the next appointment date. They never wrote it down. Overall the dress was nice and I appreciate that SOME of the managers and employees tried to be helpful, however a 10% discount on over a $100 alterations fee and two 1 hour (there and back home) trips wasted doesn't make up for it. Get your dress from there but go somewhere else to get...
