Review of Marshalls
Marshalls is a treasure hunt in retail form—part department store, part surprise party. You walk in never entirely sure what you’ll find, but that’s half the fun. The store offers a wide variety of brand-name clothing, shoes, home décor, beauty products, and even gourmet snacks, all at prices noticeably lower than typical retail.
The clothing section is the main draw, with racks sorted by size and style. While you may have to do some digging, the payoff can be big: designer jeans for a fraction of the price, seasonal dresses, or quality athletic wear. The shoe section is equally tempting, with styles ranging from casual sneakers to dressy heels.
Home goods are another highlight—think plush towels, cookware, decorative accents, and storage solutions you didn’t know you needed. The beauty aisle has an ever-changing selection of skincare, hair products, and fragrances, often from high-end brands.
Store organization can vary; some locations keep everything neat, while others feel a bit chaotic during busy times. Staff are generally friendly and quick to assist, and checkout lines move quickly.
Overall, Marshalls offers a satisfying mix of value, variety, and the thrill of the unexpected. If you enjoy bargain hunting and don’t mind a little searching, it’s a shopping experience...
Read moreI won a gift card to Marshall's playing Bingo at our Wednesday night Thrive prayer and Bible study. Wait, that's not completely true. I won a gift card to the Olive Garden, and the gentleman sitting next to me won the Marshall's. Here is where it got sticky. My mother won a Dairy Queen card, and they were about to swap when I walked up with Olive Garden. I didn't see this coming, and neither did my mother, but it was downright funny. He took the Marshall's card right out of Mama's hand and gave it to me. Nope, I had no empathy for her. I wanted that card! So, I scored L'Oréal Revitalift and Expert Day Cream! Ladies, if you are fighting those pesky wrinkles beginning to show, then you know how much this stuff is in a non-discount store, anywhere from $25-$30. Marshall's has a lot of different items for everyone in your house, and the prices are wonderful. The only reason I gave this store a 4, they have one rack in that entire store with sizes 1x-3x. ONE! Very disappointing. The employees were friendly and efficient. The store appears to be in chaos, but it's not. They just have a lot of items discounted and ready to go home with you. Everything, for the most part, is in its place. I'd recommend this store and shop...
Read moreI went in to get things for a new bathroom and they had almost everything I needed and saved me a trip to Lowes for a curtain rod ( I was extremely happy! ) I did have an issue though and I was pressed for time and didn’t want to cause trouble. I needed a shower caddy. They had one I loved with bamboo shelves and they also had a cheaper looking plastic one, cream color and it was the only one, no sticker/tag. So I took both up there with me to the checkout. I explained to the young woman I didn’t know the price of this caddy and she looked at it and looked at the other one and said oh they are the same price. She then put back the obliviously more expensive one and gave me the cheap one. I just needed a caddy and would have been okay with the cheaper one if she had taken a second to go ask someone what to do or how to figure out how to find the price. Other than checkout,...
