If I could zero stars, I would, based on the service received today. I purchased shirts from the Warner Robins Michaels and needed to exchange 2 for different sizes. I came to this location out of convenience only to be told I couldn’t exchange the shirts because “it’s not their shirt”. It was clearly the same shirt however the manager didn’t try to accommodate me or understand the receipt. Due to scanning issues and all the shirts being the same price, it didn’t scan each separate size. There were 8 shirts purchased and only two needed to be returned. The cashier, who didn’t have a name tag, didn’t try to help at all she just stated “we can’t do it”. If all shirts were the SAME price then the manager should’ve been able to troubleshoot and solve the problem instead of not doing anything.
Please coach the staff on how to actually help customers. At the end of the day, it was a tshirt purchased from Michaels and it should’ve been able to have been exchanged. Period.
The staff that were working were scheduled around 4:15-4:20pm when the...
Read moreTried to use self checkout. First the item Wouldn't scan so the cashier had to figure it out which took a bit then I couldn't bypass my pin number. It's a business card and I always bypass the pin number so I ended up having to leave my item. Ridiculous to say the least. Won't be coming to Michael's if that's always going to be an issue. This is the second time, the last time the cashier had to check me out anyway.
Update: 8/16, went to do an even exchange but the cashier did it as a return so I ended up having to pay more out of pocket. I just did it because I wasn’t in the mood to deal with it and really needed the item but please train cashiers on how to do exchanges. Y’all are getting over on people. I worked retail 20 years, it’s not rocket science to figure out when things literally don’t add up. Training correctly does help if you want to keep your customers.
. Cashier lacks customer services skills. Can’t even acknowledge you when you ask a question while ringing you up. I’d rather travel...
Read moreClean store, i went in a bit before closing, and very kind employees helped me find my items quickly. I was not going to be the one they had to either lock in for the night or drag my fanny out of there. The store had exactly what I needed, even if I thought what i wanted was not there. I want to make something to put our Rock Springs Thrive groups name tags in alphabetically instead of the basket we just throw them in and every week it's a chore to find them. Someone is always kind enough to arrive early and do just that, organize them. I walked around trying to rethink my project, and the ladies were quick to show or help me find my items. This is a great place to find different items for last-minute creations! I'll update this with the end result...
