Hong Kong Express Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Macon

Ordered here for more than 15 years while working at the Medical Center in Macon. Moved away a couple years ago after retirement and now all other Chinese restaurants fail in comparison. In all the time I ordered from Hong Kong Express, I got just what I wanted and plenty of it for the price. Their health inspection rating was always very high and we never had any "stomach problems". The service was always fast and courteous. The place is definitely not for dining in but you could if you needed to. I really miss the food and the people who run it. I love good Chinese and ate it almost every night since they gladly delivered to the hospital. Makes my mouth water just thinking of it! OMG. I am usually very picky when it comes to my food, but I can honestly say tonight's food was PERFECT! We (me and my 2 kids) ordered honey chicken with house fried rice and a large container of egg drop soup. While we waited, an older employee handed my son 2 fortune cookies to share with his sister. The food was done within 5 minutes, and was extremely hot in temperature. I made it all the way home, (20 Minutes) and still burned my tongue because the food stayed hot for so long. Nothing was dry, and everything was well seasoned. Normally we have an amazing experience dealing with them, but this time we ordered almost $70 work of food for 3 adults. Which is normal when we eat here. We normally don't have to check our food leaving because the owner makes sure that everything it in the bag. This time when we got home one of the large rib appetizers was missing. Which just happened to be mine. So we called up there he told us no problem come pick it up in 20 minutes.
