Brock's Jewelers — Local services in Madison

We have owned a business next door to Brock's for a while now, and I have wanted to leave them a review for the longest. I wanted to wait, though, until I had actually used their services so I could write it from the perspective of a customer. This shop is hands down the best jewelry shop in the area. They are the sweetest people you could ever meet. They listen to their customer and work with them to get them exactly what they want. I had a ring that my husband gave me that was far too big. It meant the world to me, and I would not have trusted it to just anyone. I took it to Alan and his team to get it resized. The service associate measured me carefully, took careful notes and was overall very attentive. The resizing was done perfectly. My ring looks beautiful with no seam where it was cut. It also fits me perfectly now. On a personal note as someone who interacts with the folks at Brock's on a regular basis, I can attest they are all some of the nicest, most hardworking and honest people we have ever met. They welcomed us warmly when we opened as a new business and have given us advice and encouragement along the way. My fiance and I had a lovely time at Brock's! We picked out a ring wrap and had my engagement ring re-set. The jeweler and Kathy were both so helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. They were kind when pointing out that the old setting might not be as secure as we thought. They showed us under the microscope how some of the prongs were not holding in the diamond on my engagement ring as well as it needed to and explained why all the prongs were catching on everything. They were genuinely concerned and ensured us that they would take good care of the diamond while placing it in a more secure setting. They gave us an estimate on when it would be ready and were able to meet that date easily. Upon pick up, they allowed my fiance to examine the diamond in its new setting under the microscope for himself. This has been my jewelry store since 2013! They have always treated me with respect and kindness. They go above and beyond for their customers and I’m always satisfied with my purchase. Well today, I wish I could give them 100 stars!!! I went there to get a necklace and as they were helping me, I started to get overheated and then felt like I was about to pass out. They immediately had me to sit down and offered me some snacks. As I’m sitting there I felt nauseous and I ran out the door and got sick all outside of the entrance to the jewelry store. They immediately came and started cleaning and gave me tissues, water and brought me a seat outside! They kept coming to check on me and making sure I was ok. All I have to say is, they didn’t have to do what they did but I am forever grateful. I eventually purchased my necklace but I am a forever customer!
