I cannot begin to tell you how much I love Filly Rose!! Buying lingerie has always seemed like an exciting thing to do for myself, but when I get down to it, it's overwhelming and, at times, I feel a bit unflattering. When Libby reached out and introduced Filly Rose to me, I'll say it peaked my interest but I still carried reservations of my own about how I would fit into these styles. Looking back, that was kind of silly because these pieces are absolutely to-die-for. I've now purchased the Alexandra and Elise bras and they are the most comfortable pieces I've ever worn. The lace is soft, which I wasn't expecting because it's usually uncomfortable, and both bras are so freakin' flattering!!

Because I am a creature of comfort, I did go with the Okko Signature Wireless bra and the Serena Ribbed Seamless bra and I basically live in both now. #workfromhomelife Still, they're flattering and I can make them cute with that everyday (literally) attire!

Aside from the all the great pieces, the main reason I will continue to support this small business is its mission. I love that Libby didn't just create a collection of goods we need (which we she did and I'm forever grateful for). Her brand is centered around self love and acceptance. There are so many sizes and shapes out there, and I've always known that should be celebrated, but I've watched that actually happen within this group and brand. My experience with filly rose was phenomenal and exceeded all my expectations. My husband booked a surprise appointment for me to help me navigate my new norm/body after our first baby and clearly I was mentioning how much I hated my bras. My body felt different and I certainly got into a rut with continuing to wearing my maternity bras that were comfortable but not making me feel good about myself. I was nervous and VERY much out of my element having shopped retail stores and having no clue what to look for. Elizabeth put me at ease right away. She was so personable and kind. She sized me (and got the right fit on the first try I’ll add!) She continued to show me different styles that worked for me and it was never a sales pitch for her. We talked about ones that should be a must have and some that should wait until the future for fear of sitting in the closet or too bold for my transition right now. I would go back to Filly Rose for a bra for an occasion i needed or just for a refitting in my best phase of life. I left with a bra for everything that I needed right now and a list of bras I liked for future and quick referencing (which is a god sent that I didn’t need to remember what I liked!) I absolutely love the Defy Bra (one piece) and the Beyond Bra (hook & eye), both by Evelynn Bobbie. I purchased my first Defy Bra at a pop up and was a bit skeptical as to the durability. After several washings (cold water, air dry), I can say that it is quite durable and keeps its shape. I was washing the bra every couple of nights so it was ready to go the next day. That's when I decided I needed to purchase another. By then, the Beyond Bra was available so I added it to my collection.

Don't be worried about the bra being snug when you put it on. It literally molds to your body and within minutes you will forget that you are wearing it! I wore the Defy Bra under a polo shirt and apron while working in a commercial kitchen on a 90 degree day. I didn't have any underboob sweat or want to rip the thing off. Yes, the bra is THAT comfortable. Also, I wear a 40DDD which is incredibly difficult to find. According to the sizing chart, I should wear an XXL, but I found the XL to fit better.

I purchased another style (Bra Bar) that only went up to a 38DDD, but it was too small so I contacted Libby who immediately sent me a return label so I could return it. There is no reason to not at least try one of these wonderful bras. It really is risk-free, but you'll be happy you...
