There is a vast array of beautiful decor, well made furniture and cute accessories artfully displayed in this store that it's like an amazing adventure walking through and around it all. How the store is set up and the clever display methods leave plenty of space to browse or move about without the concern of running into other customers. They were short on staff, as evidenced by the help wanted sign displayed,, yet the young man behind the counter seemed to be handling the busy flow of customers as quickly and efficiently as he could. I did have a rather long wait in the checkout line, but once I did get to the counter, I found the young man calm, friendly, and efficient. He was very helpful and friendly and wore a mask as well. The staff at this location was both a very polite, and incredibly helpful. I do not live in this area, but was here for work and popped in because I saw the -sale- sign outside. I was greeted at the door and told about the sale by a lovely young woman, and after looking around and scoping out their Halloween decor, but not finding the piece I had seen at my local Kirklands (before the sale), I approached the gentleman behind the counter. I had taken photos, so he looked it up and it did not look like they were going to be getting it anytime soon. He informed me that the sale was chainwide, and not just this location, and then offered to call the store I had seen the item at and have them hold it for me. Above and beyond! Madison has many great home deco. Stores. Kirkland’s is definitely unique and has an amazing selection. If you sign up for their emails you can almost always find a coupon to use on your purchase. I only give it 4 stars because when you walk in the door you nearly fall over from the scent of potpourri... it’s sooo strong and gives me a headache if I spend too much time in there.
