My recent stay at EconoLodge exceeded my expectations in more ways than one. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, this quaint motel provided a comfortable and affordable accommodation option that left me pleasantly surprised.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the staff, who were not only courteous but also efficient in getting me checked in swiftly. The lobby area was tidy and inviting, offering a glimpse of the cleanliness and attention to detail that would define my entire stay.

Entering my room, I was pleased to find it impeccably clean and well-maintained. Despite its budget-friendly nature, the room boasted all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of travel. The amenities, though basic, were more than sufficient, with a functional bathroom and a small but functional workspace for those needing to catch up on work.

One highlight of my stay was the complimentary coffee served in the morning. It was a thoughtful touch that added value to the overall experience.

Seriously awful experience. Stayed here because a few other places were booked out of rooms with 2 beds. The lobby smelt awful like weed. Got sent to the building across from the lobby, got to our room and opened the door, the heat hit us like a brick wall. The temp in our room was turned ALL the way up (90+ degrees). Mind you, we have a 2 month old, 5year old and 9 year old with us and we had drove 14 hours that day and got there at 12:30AM. I've never experienced a room so hot in my life. Not even lying, I couldn't lay the baby down on the sheets or anywhere to even change him when we got there because they were BURNING hot. The AC didn't work the first 30 mins because the plug in was so hot. The toilet seat was scorching hot. The floor was literally so hot we had to keep our shoes on. I wish I was lying about ANY of this but I'm not. We tried cooling the place down by opening the windows and running cold water, the sink leaked in both the tub and in the sink. We all maybe got a total of 3 hours of sleep at the most. At 2AM it was finally somewhat tolerable for the older kids to sleep. After the baby woke up after a cat nap, we woke everyone up and headed out by 7. I'd say by that point it was maybe finally down to 76 degrees in the room(with ac and window open). We would've called to get a new room but with all the kids it would've just been a hassle, at that point we could've just kept driving back to our home. I 100% would love a refund. This will be my second time staying at this property. So quiet. So comfortable. Great location. Yesterday I was traveling for work late. Was going to stay at motel 6 across the street booked motel 6 with hotels.com. when I arrive they told me they were overbooked and didn't have a room for me at 2:00 in the morning. I was extremely mad at motel 6. I called econo Lodge across the street. This property and a lady was very very nice. She said that they have to provide me a room at motel 6 since I had it booked. But I told her I didn't want to argue the guy and I'll reach out to their customer service. She at this property told me they also were booked because something was happening in Madison. But she said I'll find you a room. Amazing customer service. Who does that. As humans, we're always ready to b** about something but how often do we say thank you and help each other and respect each other. Also there was some plumbing or repair work going on when I was waking up around 10:00. I contacted the owner and letting him know I'm checking out at 11:30. Why are you guys banging deal with your repairs when your people are checked out and he immediately stopped the repair work again A+ customer service for this property when I'm in Madison and I want a basic property with all the amenities that I need.
