Store was not in good order. On the top floor, clothing on the floor in multiple spots. Clothes stacks on shelves were not folded. Racks used by store employees left around the store. Clothing on clearance racks is same clearance clothing from last year. One of the items on clearance rack had a visible stain. On the main floor close to the exit there was trash. The makeup area was drenched with heavy perfume smell. Attendant said it was the customers spraying excess amounts. Could not even stay there for attendant to assist it was so bad. On the bottom floor, many of the products are not Macy’s quality at all. Cheap items for miscellaneous kitchen pieces like holiday platters, kitchen storage. Not even competitive with Target products for appearance and class. Much of the sheets and bedding are not quality or styles I expect at Macy’s either. Newer quality brands don’t seem to be carried here. Many of the home appliances are cheap no name brands. The holiday section was gaudy and cheap-looking also. There were demo tags on the trees. I come to Macy’s as a treat and to buy unique items I can’t find anywhere else. Very disappointing. At this store, the staff are also repeatedly upset about unruly customers on multiple visits. The staff at this store are generally nice pleasant people who don’t complain about the customers, but they seem overwhelmed at ongoing poor behavior.

No carts = no more shopping here. Bought a heavy roaster from basement and it took 15 minutes for an employee to come put on cart, go to elevator on far side of store then come out where I had been told to sit & wait curbside on a single aisle drive aisle getting glared looks. Price rang up wrong at $80 instead of $31 - like everywhere, you really need to watch at check out. Could only find one open cashier on second floor & ended up bringing clothes down to purses to pay. Updated 3 - 19 - 21 and still really bad.

Came back here instead of going next door to get my MK purse. I remembered the lady that helped us a couple weeks ago and told her we would be back to purchase. She was extremely helpful both times! Super nice to talk to and I walked out of there with a brand new MK purse and wallet! Would definitely shop here again 😊

I placed an online order for pickup and I figured I'd need to wait but to double check before I made the hike, I called Macys and they told me long as they aren't busy then we'll get you taken care of. Get to Macys and I go to customer service line and first lady I interacted with told me that my order wasn't ready in a manner that wasn't welcoming. I had to run errands so I waited for over another hour and fifteen. Get back in line and next woman, probably in 50s mentioned same thing but she was solution oriented and mentioned I could just cancel my order and get the 1 bottle of perfume in that department. Felt little better. Waited over 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. Young lady in her 20s was very nice, apologized for having this be a frustrating experience and made me feel good. She gets an associate who had my order and just as he was about to give me my order, woman named Andrea grabbed the bag and said I could cancel my order and buy perfume or wait 10+ minutes to have this processed. Now I'm extremely annoyed bc I could've easily shown my drivers license, initial confirmation or whatever else they needed. My phone was about to die, needed last bit of juice to get home because I'm new to the area. I didnt feel one bit that customer service from 3 out of 5 people I interacted with was of importance. Just overall frustrated with the entire experience from miscommunication and lack of...

I purchased a suit for my spouse in October for Christmas. He tried it on, and it didn't work out. I returned everything, but an item was missed on the receipt. After explaining my situation for an hour with customer support, they informed me there's nothing they can do, and I have to drive an hour round-trip to the place I made the return originally.

I traveled to Macys, and I explained the situation since Macys does not answer phone calls. I've tried calling the store over and over again and leaving a voicemail with the head of the Madison Hilldale division, and I have received nothing back.

The supervisor (Nicki) said they have to give the time stamp to security to review the footage before they can refund me the item I already returned. She said she'd call me, but she has not, and I have little hope she will. I've spent countless hours traveling and trying to get my money back for an item l've already given back. I believe I won't be fairly compensated for such troubles, but I at least want the money back from the return. I will never ever shop here again, and I will be cancelling my charge card as well.

The poor customer service, cleanliness, disorder, and overall experience at Macy's has been abysmal. I even attempted calling the district manager. Absolutely no reply. They should be out of business. This is not a good faith operation....
