Grayson's Auction and Sales — Local services in Madisonville

My girlfriend and I went to pick up our stuff that we won in the recent Grayson auctions that was due to be picked up at a storage unit in Sweetwater, Tennessee. When I pulled up to the units they had multiple police cars with officers outstanding. The owner Mr. Grayson was very nasty understanding that The self storage place place and him the owner of the auction company had an agreement and decided they were not going to give us what we had already paid for and wanted everybody off of the property when I think about it. Poor packaging, and poor Customer Service. I won several lots from an auction they had, and upwards of 70% of my items arrived shattered. When I attempted to reach out, I was ignored until I contacted the auction parent company. After that I got one email stating that they aren't respoinsible for anything that happens during shipping. I responded stating that this was an extreme extenuating circumstance, and was once again ignored. There was less packing material used on these items that would be shipped across the country than what I would use to pack items I was bringing next door. Wes and his team were great. Wes was compassionate about the estate situation, cared about our needs and was very communicative throughout the process. He was the only auction representative (of the five I interviewed) who would give me a clear, fixed price on labor and the clean-out, which allowed us to plan much more easily. His pricing was extremely fair, competitive and transparent without a bunch of add-on fees.
