Woodforest National Bank — Local services in Magnolia

Just for the giggles , I took the time to read some of the reviews for this branch. While I continue to see all the happy customers that actually bank here seem in the most part satisfied with what they receive as “customers “ But……. This branch will not allow a non account holders to cash a check nor do transactions through there drive thru. They make it very clear it is only for use to the account holders within the bank, so they make you park , go inside and have to be badgered about opening an account. Over and over and over. Repeatedly. Now , this is not said for all wood forest banks , I can take my check down 1488 , an inconvenience non the less, and drive right up to the drive through and have zero issues!! But….. without fail they also will badger you to open an account. . I would not recommend wood forest bank to anyone , especially once you find out how much different and less fees you pay at ANY local credit union. Thanks but no thanks wood forest bank . Anne was amazing! Monéka was just superb! Both of these ladies welcomed me to the branch office in Magnolia as If we had known each other for years. Truly making me (a potential client) feel welcome and SEEN. This was pivotal in my mind as I am learning to recognize the Woodforest Bank brand and make my decision on where my banking loyalty will lay. As I sat at the desk to ask about their products, Miss Monéka greeted every single customer who came through the doors by FIRST name! I was truly impressed. Worse costumer service every one it seems to be just working because they need the money but they absolutely have zero clue about costumer service i went to withdraw money and since i didn't have my physical ID i had it on my phone, i said my account number by memory i gave them my bank cc and they couldn't do it, but they said if we knew you we would give you the money, funny thing is i come to this branch to deposit large amounts of money 2 o 3 times a week for more than a year and nobody knows me or remembers me, i will definitely look to close my account soon..! Others banks use your card as an ID to do all of your banking but woodforest is getting behind and will lose long time loyal...
