Magnolia Diner — Restaurant in Magnolia

Had to wait to be seated when there was only one table being served and at least 3 waitresses talking around the register...and 2 or three more standing around by kitchen....got seated and hostess was friendly..we ordered the mushroom swiss burger on grilled sourdough (menu stated)when we received our meal the burger was on Sourdough bread! After food was delivered to our table..never aaw waitress again had to get up and ask for drink refills.Excuse me but we ordered a burger and assumed it came on a grilled sourdough bun! A side from it being the messiest burger ever..the Hamburger patty was a frozen ! Manager wasnt available so i paid $21for the most disgusting Hamburger in my entire life...we get home and both had food poisoning for 2 days had to go to urgent care! Perhaps instead of cutting corners on the food....not have so many waitstaff..make cuta in staff they were standing around and not providing good service or making a nice pleasant time to your customers your staff that you employee make or break your business....its NOT covid its your food i sure as heck didnt appreciate paying $9for a frozen...

I had given this eatery 5 stars 2 years ago. Unfortunately, tonight's experience has made me change my mind. Our waitress was very inattentive, I waved at her several times and she nodded at me then continued to stand behind the counter and talk with coworkers while we needed drinks refilled. The food was really good but it's hard to eat without drink refills and while waiting for your condiments. We ordered cheese sauce for broccoli and were finally brought a very small portion of shredded cheddar cheese in a to go condiment cup. Also, the ranch dressing for chicken tenders was a very small portion in a to go cup. We were charged extra for both even though they were ordered with the meals. The white gravy arrived after the food was finished and we were charged extra for it. Asked the cashier to take the extra charges off but we were told that she couldn't do that. Too bad that a couple of dollars will cost them our future business. Really sad for such a wonderful restaurant in the past to fail at everything that made it so great for decades of memories with the family...

We have been coming to this place since it opened, normally we love it. However the last 3 times they have not done their best. I will be the first to say ( the customer is not always right ) but now days you can't even have a complaint, it's just assumed you are looking for something for free. If someone is not happy shouldn't it also be an opportunity for learning.? Our order was placed correctly, it took a little longer than expected, our server was very nice. We received our food a little over done and not correct waited requested kitchen to correct the add on request originally that took about 5 mins. While waiting food became soggy. We still like this place, will probably start making this menu item at home. There are so many reasons people choose to eat out. Convenience being one of the top reasons, but the end result is ( is the food good ) Sorry 😐 wish I felt like we could express our concerns with an...
