*Edit to the below review - the owner reached out to us after we left our review, and apologized for our experience. We did decide to give them another try, and we did get a good pizza this time. We appreciate the time he took to speak with us.
As a family of native New Yorkers, we'd like to think we all know good pizza here at our house. We've been all over for good pizza, but this place has always been our at home go-to place to order from. Our grandparents ordered here for years before we moved locally and started ordering ourselves about three years ago - at least 6 or 7 years of happy customers between both families. The last 4 or 5 times we've ordered here we've been pretty disappointed - but today we received the order that officially has gotten us to the point where we will no longer be ordering or picking up food here anymore. Tonight's dinner was officially a waste of money. The peppers and onions were raw on a 1/2 sausage peppers and onions 1/2 extra cheese pie. We asked for it to be cooked well done, which we have plenty of times before, and the pizza had to be cooked in our oven so that the dough could finish cooking. The whole thing was a big, sloppy mess when we opened the cover. This place used to be great quality food - every single time. I get that times are tough and things are expensive, and things can't always be perfect. There's been a serious decline going on though, and tonight was kinda the last straw...
Read moreThe pizza slices are very small. They have a very small selection of specialty slices. The cheese and sauce are average taste. About the same as Digiorno's frozen pizza. The calzones are very small. They fit in the palm of your hand. The fillings in the calzone are a couple of scoops of cheese. The meals are above average but not worth the price. The best meals are the baked ziti and the sausage and peppers. not the chewy strips of sausage that they put on the pizza slice. 10.00 for half a hero.Maybe if they added more meat and cheese to the sandwich.4.00 for a slice of small pizza.Make bigger pies with thicker crust and more toppings on them, No version of a vegetable slice of pizza. There are 6 pizza restaurants near Pizza Master. They better lower the prices or just sell pizza. There are a handful of lunch specials that you can hardly see on the wall. These lunch specials should be on a stand outside the front door. And there should be at least ten lunch specials every day.maybe create an app where you can get discounts or freeload if you order online. At lunchtime there is usually only 2 to 3 people dining in. And they usually get a plain slice of pizza or half a hero. I have not seen the delivery driver for several weeks. This is a bad sign. If you make the food better and more affordable. There will be more orders from...
Read moreHave been going here for about a year but didn't like the pizza dough, thought it was tasteless to be honest. It's close by and convenient so I decided to try some other menu items and I tried some soups and pasta dishes. I didn't like the soups at all but I ordered stuffed shells and it was actually pretty good. I also decided to buy some of their pizza dough and try it at home and it actually tasted better being prepared by myself, not sure why. Some of the responses from the owner for bad reviews seem a little crazy. Not everyone is going to like their food and you can't beat people into liking it just because the owner is taking it personally. I think the owner is a little nuts. And no, I'm not calling you to...
