Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Mahwah

Did not get what we paid for. I believe they really don't care. Pathetically poor customer service and very poor product. I ordered a Blizzard with cookie dough. There was almost zero cookie dough in it. I very nicely called to speak with the manager, and some young girl answered the phone who seemed to make it clear that she didn't care - snottily telling me there was no manager there. DQ's responses on here about complaints to DQ seem to be all the same boiler-plate cut-and-paste answer. Watch... My bet is that DQ will only answer with the same canned response - no offer to make it right - something like: "We're sorry about your experience. We appreciate your feedback and are always listening to our 'fans'" [No they don't and no they're not listening]. "We hope you try us again" [seriously!?] Extremely poor. I called ahead at about 6L30pm to see what time they closed (its Wednesday) and they said 10pm. I hung up and drove there to buy some food before I head into work because I work overnight. I got there at 8:15pm, there was an unexpected long line literally out the door so I waited 15 minutes by the time I got to the counter. I get to the counter and I said I wanted to order food and the cashier said their grill is closed. Its not even 8:30pm and they shut the grills off already??? They said they only had snacks available for food like the pretzels. I asked for cheese curds and they said no because the grill was closed. I guess the grill means the fryers as well. They said they shut the grills at 7pm. WHY are you shutting down the food 3 hours before you close????? So disappointed because I LOVE DQ. I...

Everywhere in the world can have bad customer service. Let’s all take a moment and realize that adults are complaining because “my ice cream didn’t turn upside down”. Please. Get a life. Or say you don’t have money. This DQ is just as fine as your McDonalds off the highway. They are quick, simple, and not disrespectful. I’ve gone here many times, never had a problem other than seeing others disturb the servers because they did get the “wight ice cweam” then cry because they think the server cant change it. What I’m saying is bad days are tailored to the person it happens to. Just because people had one bad time here doesn’t mean you will. It’s a normal DQ go...
